Vacuum Pumping 101

Proceed with caution, theonlymaestro. Members have reported success with higher vacuum, but I suspect there’s also a higher risk of injury. Watch your EQ and your PIs.

You can get a donut with low vacuum or higher vacuum, although I think the potential is higher with higher vacuum. My guess is that lower vacuum, longer duration pumping does more to expand the whole penis, while higher vacuum is going after what it can reach the easiest, which means more force on the tissues closest to the surface.

I noticed few red dots on my penis after pumping. Can i continue pumping today or should i stop and take a rest until those dots disappear?

Wait until the red dots disappear.

Used my pump for the first time yesterday. I noticed yesterday while pumping that a little more skin around my base and some of my sac get pulled into the tube, felt really weird when my nut started to get dragged in so I had to stop and readjust a little. Any tips on how to keep my nuts away? I am worried that since my base girth doesn’t pack the tube and since a little bit of the skin around it goes into the pump as well that it may cause unwanted skin growth or a turkey neck, should I be worried and find away to avoid this or will I be alright?

I think your cylinder is too big for you, you should check this link and will help you out.

Also make sure to keep any lube away from your scrotum. Put enough on the base of your penis to help you get a good seal, but try not to get any on your nut sac.

Congratulations, PatientlyGrowin!

Two things that might help:

1. Start at really low vacuum - just enough to create and maintain a seal - and increase your vacuum level slowly. If you have a good, substantial seal at the base, with solid ‘packing’, you’re less likely to pull in scrotal tissue.

2. Try a loose wrap of some kind at the base of your scrotum to help maintain a gentle counterpull. Think “ball stretcher”. If a loose wrap is not enough, consider an actual ballstretcher.

Thanks guys, so far pumping feels great and I understand how/why someone would get carried away with it. I plan on using it as minimally as possible since I don’t fit the tube “perfectly” yet and I fear I might warp my base or create an unwanted turkey neck.
Routine for my pump is only one session for five minutes at the end of my 100 jelqs.

Currently I have this pump with the 9”x1.75” diameter straight walled cylinder. All in all it is crazy simple to use and will suit me just fine for a couple of months I am sure.

If someone has the same vacuum pump or the same gauge for that matter I am curious as to how I read the gauge? There are 7 little slashes before the slash indicating 5. I am assuming the 5 is 5Hg’s. I have never even gotten close to that number. I can feel the pressure and see how large I get with about 3 pumps. And seeing as how I don’t know how to read the scale so I am not sure what pressure I am at, I try to stay in the feeling good spectrum than any other.

@Lampwick, I am not sure of what a ball stretcher is. It sounds self explanatory but I honestly have no clue haha. Will it help keep my nuts and sack pulled back and away only? Or will it assist in keeping the skin around my base out of the pump too?
I want to get as much early base girth growth as I can so I can pack the base of the pump soon and not have to worry about creating a turkey neck or something. Thanks for any and all replies!

I’m thinking of using a pistol grip pump for length. I’m already using swole cream for girth. Is the pistol grip the best pump, or maybe an electric pump?

Hey guys, long time no see!

I am starting a new pump routine and want some newbie questions answered.

What’s the a safe zone and danger zone when talking about vacuum pression??

I use 5 in/mg and I know it’s a light routine but what’s heavy? What’s dangerous??

Another thing, my routine it’s a very light one, 5in/mg 5 minutes daily, when I will progress, from where do I begin? Increase time? Vacuum? Or numbers of sessions per day?

Try to keep your pressure between 3 - 5 HG, even later on as you progress.

You can gradually increase your time in the tube; one session per day is enough. But keep the vacuum stable at 3 - 5 HG. Most experienced pumpers agree that low vacuum is better for gains and avoiding injury than using high HG.

Hey guys I have another dumb newbie question to make. I have to stay all the time in the tube with the same vacuum, like clamping? Just holding and counting the time, or do I have to increase the vacuum to 5 HG then go low on 3 HG, them pump to 5 HG.

I know it’s a dumb question but I don’t know the answer.

Phyriel, another thing you can do is sometimes called milking the tube - with a low vacuum like 1 HG, pull the cylinder so that you only go up to about 5 HG then back down, repeat kinda like jerking but you’ll only be moving the tube 1/4-1/2”. The idea is cycling the pressure, and moving the base of the tube to help blood flow. I mix this up and increase to 4 HG and hold for a while, etc.

Also agree with avocet that low vacuum is best. Higher vacuum just gave me lots of lymph and the doughnut, which takes a while to heal or will come right back the next day and usually worse. I lost time and consistency since I couldn’t do other PE while waiting for that to heal. I’ve been pumping off and on for years now and settled on max 4 HG.

B4: ?? 2019: 6.875" NBPEL / 7.5" BPEL / 5.75" EG

2/20: ?? NBPEL / 7.75" BPEL / 5.75" EG

Goal: 8" x 5.75", maybe coveted 8 x 6

I’d second that, after spending the first year pumping at 5hg and ending up with some nasty dark discolouration i’ve settled on 3hg max,

I also drop the pressure to zero every 5mins for about 30 seconds then pump back up, seems to help with circulation and expansion.

Dear avocet8, kindly advise if we do WARM UP before pumping, this this activity gives us extra gains?
