Years ago I injured myself while hanging. I mentioned that in this log somewhere. I injured myself mildly with PE4F pumping this year where I bled into the cylinder. There were pictures and entries on that.

Other mild things I’m sure I rested through but those are all that came to mind.

You do not realize how important good feedback is until you get it and it makes your day. My customer reported that he was very impressed with the quality of the product and the video instructions I supplied. It just made me feel like I did it right.

Reflecting on Rest

One of the hardest things about being successful at PE is learning how to rest. How long you rest, when you rest and why you rest all matter. My personal views are that there is seldom a situation where you have too much rest. And that there are many situations where you have too little rest or too much work.

I have been on a break going on 6 weeks now. I only manage one clamping session per week for 10 minutes on my off day. Given that I’ve spent the last few months doing a lot of pumping and girth work a deconditioning break was due to occur. Personally, I find that taking a month or two with minimal to no PE gives you a better time to heal and that healing is going to be when a lot of the gains come in.

In the last 2 months I have seen repeated regular measurements of 6.25” MSEG and above. And these are prior to my once weekly clamping session. I do the clamping session to assist in cementing. That’s it. I will go back into an active work phase in the beginning of January where I will begin hanging as well.

But I needed to speak on why I’ve done so little PE recently. As it so happens my life has taken a turn for the more busy but I was due for a break anyway and making the most of such a thing is how successful PE is done. Your life should not be customized around your routine phases. Your PE routine should flex around the life you want to live.

Exactly this. I just had a good two week decon forced upon me. I’ll take it!

We definitely need to PE as the schedule allows always making sure it maintains its appropriate level on the priority hierarchy and that we don’t allow it to inch its way up higher than it belongs, it can be sneaky like that.

Too slick. Staying focused on living life is what matters. Too many miss this idea and do hours of PE daily when you do not need to in order to gain.

I think the big issue is rush for gains. This happens in all aspects of life not just PE. I saw my EQ increase greatly the first month. Causing me to want more gains fast which just put me in the mindset of running and gunning. The saying haste makes waste is as true as they come.
It comes with racing cars. Someone corners hard and then more and more u til they end up in a tire wall.
Comes with lifting weights. Gets a new PR and wants to max out weekly to prove it.
Comes with making money. As you make more you just want more.
Patience is the key to everything. Good documented procedures and patience

I am falling into this struggle now. And reading posts like yours from seasoned veterans helps me come back the reality this is a journey and enjoy the ride.

Patience is a virtue. Also, keep living. If PE becomes a central part of your life daily you naturally will lose patience and push harder than needed.

Electronic Gauge Success.

I knew that electronic gauges would be a wonderful addition. I simply underestimated how much I would like it. Digital readout is very responsive, down to 2 decimal places and the gauge is orange, which I happen to love.

Steel fittings have to be used, as the interface is not brass like the dial gauges and that along with the cost of the gauge itself drove the cost of living up and delayed my own personal play testing. But what is overtime but a purpose to spoil yourself?

When my PE regiment starts back up I’ll be more than ready. It’s got me fired up to use, like a brand new device!

Generally no.

I have in the past but with the incremental gains I get most losses now are in the realm of daily fluctuations.

A landmark

I got a blowjob from an ex last night. It marks a couple landmark achievements, as well.
