You don’t need to stop stretching for a while - you need to stop masturbating for a while. I get that shrunken thing going on if I have a frenzied week of jacking it, and even though I’m always rock hard, I never get ‘quite’ as big when I’m whacking it a lot, as I do when I have a few days off.
I think there is a correlation between the flaccid and erect shrinkage and pulling off a lot - it may well be a protective response by the collagen. When I’m cranking a lot, my erections feel hard, like the blood in the chambers has come up against solid walls. When I haven’t been choking it much, it feels like the blood has come up against hard rubber walls, and it’s still trying to expand them outwards.
I’ve always been in the ‘masturbation does not affect gains’ camp, because I gained well and was spanking it a lot, and I could see no physiological reason (from a mechanical perspective - I never considered the hormonal/chemical much) why it would. But now I’m not as sure as I was. I still don’t think it affects gains much - but I do think there is some effect.
