My return
Hey everyone
So I’m not exactly new to PE or Thundersplace, but I took a long vacation and after some extensive meditation on my previous failures with PE I’ve decided to give this another shot with a new angle.
Originally, around 2.5 years ago, I started PE with the newbie routine, and gradually over the course of 2 years introduced weighted hanging and clamping. I saw about 1/2” of length and maybe 1/4” of girth gains in that time, which I think is decent. However, the gains slowed to a stop, and then I had a slight injury which sidelined me for a few months. I tried to get back into PE after recovery, but just lost interest because by that point, based off of my lack of gains for so long, I had lost confidence and motivation.
My new plan is to work on the newbie routine again, but this time instead of pushing through once I get tired and can’t maintain my desired erection percent, I’ll just finish up and call it a day. I believe that most people, myself included, do too much rather than too little.
Even if my jelqing session only lasts 5 minutes before I’m tired, I will listen to the feedback my body is giving me. There was a point during my clamping and hanging days where I was receiving all of the positive PIs I can imagine, but still wasn’t gaining - but many of the days I was just so tired that I had to force myself to do the work, and often time coerce myself with porn to stay in the workout. I believe this was the defining flaw in my workouts.
Anyway, excited to be back. Excited to learn from my previous mistakes - even though I FELT like I was doing everything right, and in many regards I did, I still think there are some improvements I can make on my discipline and patience.
