Big Gainer Highlights

How many of these had beginning pics, were diligent with updates, and measured progress throughout their journey? Is there a realistic thread like that? You’d think there would be at least 10 or 15 right?

I think some people mentioned braindrain is the biggest gainer that had before and after pics and a detailed progress log. There are several more who have picture threads, but I’m not sure about beginning pics. Honestly I don’t keep track of the pics much. I look through all their old threads, and if they have a pic thread, I’m looking through it for info on their routine rather than the photos. I don’t like looking at penises so I try to limit my inevitable exposure here, ironic huh? Perhaps somebody else knows better.

Yes, very ironic. What’s your gauge to determine if you’re going to heed the advice? How well someone writes? Topical info? Number of posts? Might help to think of it more clinically. Like the object of your hard work. I don’t see dicks as arousing. They all are pretty much the same. I’m not shy with doctors either. The environment doesn’t warrant it. I’m sure I’ve had more exposure to the nude body growing up than most here in a non-sexual way. I’ve lived in Europe where art and culture express the human body more than any other form. Thinking of our bodies as art or beauty, instead of sexually, helps. Individuals makes nudity perverse. I think age helps too. I’m 48. Older guys have seen more and just don’t seem to care as much. Maybe someone else will take up the cause as I think it legitimizes the process for lots of folks. BD, I sure appreciate the thread and your hard work. Interesting reads for sure.

Monty,

I guess I wasn’t clear. I should have said I don’t like looking at penis pictures. I have no problem with nudity, none whatsoever. If it were up to me we would be able to walk around naked in public in the summer time for the simple reason that it’s hot out. Context, man. What I don’t do is seek out pictures of dicks on the internet to participate in ego stroking, nor to prove to myself something for which I already have definitive first hand evidence. That is the sense in which I don’t like looking at penis pics on this forum.

Now, to answer the other part of your post, let me tell you about when I first came to Thunder’s.

I had a problem with some persistent pain in the pelvic region. In searching for information on my condition I found a post at Thunder’s. It took me about 5 seconds to realize I had wandered on to a PE forum. The most I had heard about PE before was infomercials for Extenze pills, and with that background context I considered PE to be largely a scam. But I was curious, and I peeked around Thunder’s for a few minutes. This was in 2012, and the first thing that popped out at me is there were no ads, no products, no attempts to scam or make money in any way.

I had been on the internet since about 1996, and no-advertisement forums were everywhere in the late 90’s, and early 2000’s, and they were fucking awesome. There was this amazing social climate on the internet at the time. Everything was free. And experts and enthusiasts from all corners of life were coming together, sharing and comparing gold mines of information for the sheer purpose of helping each other. In that era, I personally frequented a few boards on exercising, yoga, and how to inexpensively create powerful psychedelics in your own home. Anyway, that spirit kind of died out gradually between 2000 and 2010. The internet’s population - which was previously largely composed of youth, academics, computer enthusiasts, and niche experts and hobbyists - exploded to include the entire world population. It became commercialized. The spirit of free information became very costly to the people who were hosting it because traffic increased exponentially. The tight knit communities of enthusiasts found themselves diluted by free loaders who had no genuine interest in the topic at hand. Many of the free boards died out.

Anyway, when I saw Thunder’s, I instantly recognized that old spirit here. You’ve been here since ‘03, you know what I’m talking about. The miracle is that this place went through the end of that era and survives to this day. That old camaraderie, brotherhood, and spirit of innovation and information sharing lives on as well. On my first visit, I read through some posts and I saw the free sharing of information rather than some other agenda, and I knew PE was real in that moment. I knew that these were a bunch of guys getting together to share their methods, just like I used to post about cutting edge techniques to bench press double your body weight, or the finer points of breathing exercises and meditation, or what hidden worlds were in the depths of a psilocibin trip. I needed no further convincing, no picture proof. I legitimized the process for myself, and had gains within a few weeks.

That is the same spirit that this thread is written in, and the same spirit that the vast majority of all progress reports on this site are written in. Yes, there are bullshitters. Yes, there are trolls. Yes, there are people who are here to stroke their egos. But most of the people here, and most of the guys highlighted in this thread are simply freely sharing information for a common cause. As I’ve said from page 1, I’m leaving it up to you to decide which ones are which. Use what’s useful to you, and ignore what isn’t. Use this thread as motivation and a collection of interesting techniques. And then intelligently and selectively experiment with them on yourself to find what works.

Ironaddict69

ironaddict69

Ironaddict69 started PE in mid 2007 at the age of 18 or 19. He reports his starting size at somewhere between 6” x 6” and 7” x 6.75” in various threads around the forum. The large range in starting measurements may be from a combination of measuring after already doing a few months of PE, sometimes quoting BP versus NBP, possibly quoting size from a younger age (16-17), and having a tapered or “tree trunk” shape with girth variation along the shaft. The girth measurements in the size database reflect his base girth. In any case, he states his starting size in the database at 7” x 6.5” and he gained about 15.1 cubic inches, or 247 cubic centimeters give or take a little, with a current size of about 8.625” x 7.5”. If you go by his smaller starting size measurements, his gain is closer to 20 or even 25 cubic inches, possibly making him one of the top few gainers to ever enter stats.

The girth taper was about 1” difference between base girth and head girth. And that remained about the same throughout his career. Because of his large starting girth, IA69 was looking to gain mostly length, and his logs are a good account for other members in the same situation. Because of this, hanging was the backbone of his PE career. If I had to sum up his routine, I would say: he would try everything, and plenty of it, but he always came back to hanging as the center of his routine.

IA69 was a giant human being. Standing about 6 feet tall and weighing around 250 lbs of muscle, he was a dedicated powerlifter, and every part of him was big. Between his huge frame, and his large starting girth, it was natural for him to quest after length to balance out his proportions, and his goal from the very beginning was 8.5” BPEL to achieve a 8.0” NBPEL.

He had some hormone disorder, and used Hormone Replacement Therapy to keep high testosterone levels, and supplemented extensively for his lifting. He also used Cialis even at this young age due to weak erections (about 80-90%), probably stemming from the same hormonal problem. At one point in his PE career he briefly tried chemical PE, to induce long lasting rock hard erections. Apparently he knew a doctor who had gained about 1” in length and girth using quadmix injections. While the injections did create the desired effect, ultimately it wasn’t for him, and he returned to hanging.

IA69’s logs are great for people who seek picture-proof of PE and big gainers. His first log spans from about 2007 – 2009.

His second log goes from 2009 – 2013 and includes photo progress from 2008 forward.
1 year roughly Comparison pics. Big gain

2007 – 2009

IA69 started with a few months of the newbie routine, gaining about 0.5” length and 0.5” girth. After that, he dove in the deep end, trying several techniques including vacuum hanging, pumping, clamping, redistretcher, and extenders. Solidly in the “more is more” camp, his routines in 2008 incorporated a mix of all of the above, with any given day including anywhere from 1-5 hours of active PE, as well as several hours of ADS. As the year went on, he gravitated more toward the length exercises, with hanging, stretching, fowfers, and ADS/extender making up a rather intense routine. By the end of 2008 he had gained another 0.25” of length, and another 0.25” in the first few months of 2009, with a size of about 8” x 7”. It would not be until early 2012 that he would gain any more substantial length, despite this being his only goal. He would, however, gain another 0.5” of girth during that time. And adding 0.5” of girth onto the already massive girth of 7” is creating a lot of volume.

He quickly worked up to weights in the 10-20 lbs range, because like many with large girth, he didn’t feel any fatigue at the lower weights. In 2009, he alternated between using a vacuum hanger and a Bib, going up to about 20 lbs on the vac hanger and using the Bib when he wanted to hang heavier weight. Despite occasionally hanging above 20 lbs, he did most of his work around 15 with the vac hanger. He was able to hang up to 1 hour sets with it, and preferred it over the Bib in terms of comfort. He also got an AutoXleeve ADS around this time, and began ADS literally all day that he wasn’t actively PE’ing. Throughout this time, he was still pumping and jelqing on an almost daily basis. As well as occasionally clamping.

At one point he compared his non-stop PE regimen to a heroin addiction. Somewhere around mid to late 2009, he reported that in his entire PE career (2 years at this point), he had only taken a few breaks, each 4-7 days long. Despite understanding that he would probably benefit from more off-days and longer decon breaks, he struggled to actually follow through with them. Throughout the remainder 2009, he incorporated more clamping, on the advice of the TGC theory of the time. However, hanging remained his primary focus.

2010 – 2013

By early 2010, he had temporarily gained up to about 8.25” length, and was hanging heavier weights with the Bib, going up to 30 lbs at one point. But by mid 2010 he was back to 8.0” BPEL. Throughout 2010 and 2011 he continued doing a bit of everything, but mostly hanging. His overall volume decreased a bit from the earlier years, but it was still extreme by normal standards.

It wasn’t until early 2012 that he finally took a decon break lasting about 2 months. When he returned from this decon break, he began hanging at low weights, about 5-10 lbs, gradually working his way back up to higher weights over the next several months, and it finally worked. In this time, he gained up to 8.3” BPEL.

At this point his log gets sparse, but in April 2013 he says he is up to 8.5” BPEL, and in June 2013 he updated his stats with 8.625” length. Presumably this was from hanging, and possibly incorporating decon breaks.

Having such a large girth, IA69 had a valuable perspective on the “Downside of big girth” that is occasionally discussed here, illustrated in this account of a date.

“Well I hooked up with a new girl last night. She had before hand told me one of her exes was large so I was glad, and not expecting any problems. Wrong. She was in complete shock by my dick and I was probably around 30-40%. It was definitely an interesting experience! I said to her: “I thought you were used to bigger ones?” And she said: “I thought I was too.”

He was with several women over these years (maybe a couple dozen) and estimated that with his large girth (ranging from 6” to 7.5” over these years) about 15% of women were simply too tight. 70% of women had some discomfort mixed with pleasure. And the other 15% could handle the girth without problems.

IA69 is a great PE history for guys starting with large girth, and for guys who seem to require higher force levels or higher volume training. Later in his career, he advised newbies that less is more – that they should not follow down his path of all-day PE because he believed it hindered his gains. Do as I say, not as I do. And maybe he was right, in that when he finally did take a decon break, it helped him to gain that last half inch of length that had been eluding him for years. However, throughout his own career, more is more actually worked for him, and made him one of the biggest gainers in PE history. It’s just that half of those gains came in the form of additional girth, which he didn’t want. For all of us average folks though, with average starting sizes, this is an account that shows that more is more can work. Obsessive Bib-style hanging can work. Constantly doing 4 different forms of PE each day can work, for some of us.
