When I clamp I’m always edging to keep that 100% going on, and the pressure keeps fluid from building up everywhere except right at the clamp. I feel kegels and edging with the bare minimum of clicks to get that vein popping 100% is far more productive than clamping down hard and leaving it to hang. The light method allows fresh blood constantly so you aren’t really forced to time an exact set either.

7 min x 4 sets eliminates the fluid for me. So I am wondering if the extra time is only sucking in more fluid and not really adding to gains. I’ll stick with 6 weeks on and two weeks off for a while and see how I go. I was also trying to do most days but with my schedule it isn’t practical and thanks to Thoughtful it probably isn’t required.

Yes it certainly does.But if you over do it will have a negative effect on EQ.

Yeah thats a good idea.I have been clamping for a while now.I usually do 10-15mins.

Great read, thanks for posting this information. Checked out walmart in two towns, a menard’s, and best buy. Had to order cable clamps online.

I actually clamp a lot of the time before pumping.I tend to get better expansion in the pump this way.So im guessing there is no reason why you couldn’t pump then clamp.

I do it instinctively, I train as many days as I get a positive result, when my EQ goes south or my expansion is limited I take a couple days off. I recently gained 5/16 of an inch in 3 months clamping but then I had a setback. I clamped one of my best sessions ever for 10 straight minutes and when I was done I had some numbness for a day and a half and tingling. Scared me to death so I took a few days off and EQ came back and I’m back to clamping but 5 minutes to 7 minute sets now.

This is pretty much what I do now, after a recent scare when clamping far too tight. What is your current girth and what size clamp do you use? The clamps I use are the old style Cable Clamps and I use the grey colored one (can’t see any size marked on it).

It can be done. But i see more expansion and less fluid build up if i clamp for 10 minutes first, then pump with heat.

Got my clamps and cut a mouse pad strip. Did my normal stretching routine then did my first clamping exercises this morning.

Closely timed 3 sets of 5 minutes with 2 clicks left on the clamp that I never used. Wow. Expansion was crazy. I know you gentlemen like metrics, and I am admittedly inconsistent in that area. My flaccid hang today was about double my normal flaccid girth all day, and the slightest breeze started giving me wood. I must use all of my willpower not to over do clamping.

So I’ve gotten great gains in a short time from clamping but I’m getting quite a taper the end is around 5 inches mid-shaft is 5 5/16 base is 6 1/16. Should I use multiple clamps not snugged tightly in a row from the base towards the thinner portion to force that to expand?

I would say yes. This appears to be a technique that is used in the similar, higher intensity Extreme ULI when modified.

I’ll be trying that exact thing soon as I get an air clamp, adding a regular clamp for the same reason so I think the logic follows but can’t say it from experience yet.
