Clamping 101 - The clamping guide

I lik eusing the airclamp because you can ramp up and down the pressure very easily, without taking off the clamp itself.

Just a heads up, cable clamps are not sold at walmart (or basically anywhere) anymore. Better off buying from amazon than wasting time looking.


Start - 09/28/16: BPEL: 6.5" MEG: 4.66" (Pumping, Clamping, Cockrings & Stretches)

Current - 11/25/20: BPEL: 7.2" (+.7") MEG: 4.75" (+.09") --- Roughly 1 year of PE and a long hiatus in between.

Cable Clamps Online

I am a very long time lurker, but have been doing PE for years. It was this very site that introduced me to clamping, so much so that I have run through several clamps. You can buy the actual “cable clamp” brand from cableorganizer and that is a dot com. I purchased 4 of them, with shipping for under $12. They are the real thing. I added a strip of the fuzzy side of some Velcro tape over the inside hinge.

The cost for these things in retails stores can get ridiculous, and this place sells them in many sizes individually.

So I’ve been clamping continuously for a little over a month now. My workout schedule is in my progress thread. I’ve made a solid 1/4in gain so far.

However, I’ve noticed this.
When I first started my girth was 5in unclamped. When I would clamp I’d get about 5.25 girth clamped.

As I made my first 1/8in girth unclamped gain I noticed that my clamped girth also increased by 1/8in to 5 3/8

NOW that I’m 5.25 unclamped my clamped girth still does not increase much past 5 3/8, and sometimes I’m really close to the 5 3/8in when I’m unclamped and super aroused.

I’ve been experiencing this plateau effect for about a week now. I’m not sure if this is just a cementing period and I should keep clamping, or if I should give clamping a break now and switch to pumping; I’ve been considering buying a Bathmate Hydromax30.. However, I find it hard to believe someone would hit a plateau from an exercise in only about 40days…
Note:
**No negative PI are present.** I’ve got rock hard erections, no spotting, bruising, turtling or anything to that effect.

Would love some advice from the seniors.

If no negative PI, I would continue my routine or up the volume of the routine. Or add more heat and jelqs between sets. Last time I took a trip alone, I murdered IT for 3 days and got a 16th after seeming stuck.

Clamping, especially if you go hard, can plateau fast. It’s why I only do it for 6 week periods and let it go for months.

The nature of it stretches blood vessels and the CC and CS. So, the theory I go with basically applies a limited amount of high pressue up till there are no more results. Then, after moving off clamping the state I reached and gains I got stay but elasticity will return with some deconditioning.

My Extender and forward to 10" and balls enhancement project. There is no "Holy Grail" of Penis Enlargement. Only time and effort works. I'm *10* years in and counting. All you have to do is put the work in and keep the faith.

Stein, TG, thanks for the advice. I think I’m with TG on this. Today marks about 6 weeks since I started Clamping and I’m not seeing additional expansion and anything over 30minutes clamped like I do (3 10min sets) would probably be asking for trouble. I will finish my last 2 weeks up until my first measurement report of Dec1 and after that I’m going to take a few weeks off from clamping and hopefully I’ll keep 2/8 if not 3/8 of the gain I’ve made after I stop.

TG, do you usually start pumping when your off clamping, or do you just Jelq?

It depends. Because I pump as a backbone of my routines I seldom leave pumping but after clamping it could be anything. I was on manual stretching here recently and just took a month off period, as my last cycle featured pumping but no clamping (used the ULI #3 instead). Cycle before was clamping and pumping.

So I would say jelqing is fine and to avoid pumping as it gives limited returns directly after a clamping cycle. This I can confirm, due to checking for that this last cycle. So length would be best, whatever that preference is.

I do kegels while clamped and tonight I decided to try and hold each kegel for 10 seconds. Tonight was the first night I have broken a cable clamp…

Really comfortable clamp pad

Hey guys, this is a little off topic but I just wanted to share something I found extremely comfortable for a clamp pad and I didn’t want to make a new thread just for this.

Little back story: Due to my smaller girth, I had some trouble getting started with clamping. A single layer of thin neoprene wasn’t enough to make for a tight clamp and proper closed clamp shape (if that makes sense). So I had to sew 2 layers of neoprene together into a loop and that was quite a hassle.

I would also experience some itching and irritation where the neoprene would sit after only a couple minutes in the clamp. This was due to the neoprene material and my stubby shaft pubes not getting along. So here’s my solution.

I purchased a Doc Johnson masturbation sleeve called “the tube” and I cut a piece about 1.5” off the end and use the little donut as a clamp pad. It’s made of “ultraskyn” which is extremely soft and squishy. It’s comfortable to wear under the clamp and the material feels really nice on the unit as well. The soft grip on the base is fantastic. It’s quite arousing on its own.

It’s kind of thick material so I’m not sure if you guys with hefty girths will be able to use it but it’s really compressible so it might work for you big guys.

Anyway, I just thought I’d share. Maybe someone will find it useful. :)

I just finished a hybrid set of pumping ending with clamping for ten minutes while jelqing.

Not for newbies I assure you.

My finished measurement was 7 15/16 × 7 at the head.

The clamped jelqing really expanded my already inflated head.

We’ll see how my E.Q. Holds up under this much duress.


Began December 2009 at 5 7/8" length and 5" girth.

As of December 5th 2012 7 3/8" BPEL and 6 1/8" base girth.

Going for the magic 8"x6"

How much girth do people normally get with just clamping? I only notice about 1/4” to maybe 3/8” increase while clamped, even after 3 sets of 5 minutes, it doesn’t get and thicker. In fact, it might get less thicker the more sets I do, but that was only measured by my thumb and finger, so it’s not 100% accurate.
