Silicone Sleeves - Make your own

I ordered pumping sleeves from ebay, with shipping it is ca 35-40€
Ordered ecoflex starter kit from germany for 51€.

Has anyone made sleeves for pumping? In what dimensions?

You can make cheaper sleeves than using ecoflex - using “proto-putty” (look it up on you tube) and rolling it around a tube to set. It requires a modicum of skill (which you can learn along the way),

But it’s far far cheaper than any other method - check it out!

I’ve made about 10 sleeves, 3/4” inside diameter, 1 1/8” outer diameter x 10” long. Used a mold made out of PVC pipe.

Construction silicone is safe for skin?

Probably not - Food grade silicone sealant is the one that I use. I think the other silicone sealant can have chemicals that can cause allergies e.t.c. Best to read up about it safety wise.
Food grade silicone sealant is only a tiny bit more cost than the normal stuff.

I am getting ready to buy the stuff to make a mold, and will have enough left over to make a few extra molds and possibly 15 extra sleeves. if anyone is interested just let me know.

Does anyone know if the ecoflex silicone breaks down from natural oils like cocunut oil?

I don’t think so. It’s very durable. Had it in contact with lotions etc.

Yeah natural oils too. I mean silicone is used inside the body for implants etc. for decades… really hard to break it down.

Hey so does the silicone not stick to the pvc? Also do you need the rope in it cause id prefer not if its not nessacary?
