They both rely on building pressure in the penis, what is the difference?

it just doesn’t make sense to me that they sell pumps in every porn shop in America and everyone always down plays pumps as just a novelty for short term gains.

Pumping is a fast and easy way to engorge your penis and keep it that way for a quick and dirty improved sexual encounter. However, if you follow a good routine over an extended period of time, you can increase the size of your dick on a permanent basis. The sex shops are selling pumps for the first purpose where as the quality manufacturers are satisfying customers interested in the latter purpose.

I know I have over simplified the difference, but you should get the idea.

Another warning:

For me personally, pumping barely even produced any immediate short-term gains, and I would suffer reduced EQ for a day following a session, even one with low pressure for a short time (less than 5Hg, less than 15 minutes). All I got was fluid build-up short-term and a deflated glans long-term. Definitely never any permanent or even temporarily useful gains.

I can’t explain that physiologically, but clamping just works better for me, and if I’m anything like other guys, maybe that’s why they say pumping gains are not permanent.

Most guys over pump and get a lot of edema, and makes their dicks look huge. This will then go down and you will lose all those “gains”. The Vets here who have made permanent gains with pumping usually do it with very little to no edema, and the gains come slowly but permanently.

Not all guys that pump make gains, true enough. But that can also be said about every single type of PE there is. For some reason, the “accusation” against pumping caught on and this myth persists. Its too bad, because pumping with a gauge can be very safe, reproducible and effective…if done correctly and persistently.

Is it MORE effective than other methods? No, but it along with hanging is one of the few methods that can be strictly “objective” in your force measurement. That alone makes it very attractive to me. Hanging you have a definite and stable weight you use, pumping with a gauge can use a definite and reproducible vacuum force.

If I am telling you how I jelqued successfully, how do I give you an objective force level? I can’t. I can say, “use medium force, and avoid pain” but what does that exactly mean? Well, there is no “exactly” even for me. From day to day there can be significant changes in my force level.

If I am hanging, I can say, “start with 2 lbs and work up to 5 lbs”, and this can be precisely replicated anywhere on the planet.

When I tell you to use a hand applied method, then their is no objective precise measurement, which is a drawback. I may find the ideal “feel” for me, but really you are guessing when trying to replicate it.

Guys say its not permanent when they make a subjective result into a generalization. Its like hitting on a hot chick and she turns you down, so you declare, “she doesn’t sleep with men”. When the truth is probably that she sleeps with men, but she doesn’t sleep with you.

All you guys here, how many PE methods do you try and can’t get any gains? Yet few proclaim jelquing doesn’t work if they don’t gain, they realize they haven’t gained from it, but it works based on others success. Yet, its just pumping where guys feel justified in declaring it doesn’t work based on their experience, DESPITE the repeated reports of guys getting permanent gains from it. Its really silly, and it will probably continue for a long, long time.

Yeah I know. I used a lot of “maybe” and “for me personally” in my post. I’m the last one to make generalizations about my personal experiences. Just speculating on how the generalizations may arise, which is possibly because it works for fewer people than others, and that in many guys it causes more problems than something like jelqing.

Right now I’m doing once a day 10 minute at about 4hg.I will start going longer after a few weeks,but going to keep pressure under 5 always.What did you consider “extended” sets ans low pressure?
