This is a very good thread that has scientific references of the effects of heat on stretching and elongating collagenous tissues, and the “freezing” of those elongated fibers using the cool down process. I have recently moved on to hanging (compression) after some initial gain from using ADS. I’m now at 8 lb (3.7 kg) and have started to apply heat during my sessions. I found the rice sock version a bit cumbersome with inconsistent heat levels so I bought small heat pads and set the temps in range 102-110 F, and apply them to the penis and pubic area during BTC, SD, SO sessions. The constant heat level is great I can feel the ligs stretched easier. I apply the cool down process by removing the heat pads in the last half of my final session. Hope to see good result from this application, although I do put on ADS right after hanging to keep the unit extended.
