I have started vacuum hanging and have just finished my first week of my 1st cycle.

4 sessions in week 1

Warm up .5kg no heat 15mins

Hanging 1kg heat 40 mins

Unfortunately my weights are only .5kg each

My night wood has dramatically stopped since hanging I’m 44 healthy and lift 3 -4 times a week question to 5.5 or anyone following this post does it come back on hanging days?

Yes Im measuring pretty good. I only gained with jelqing so maybe that is the cause my BPFSL isn’t close to my BPEL. Im afraid I wont gain any BPEL because my stretched flaccid length is not near my BPEL. Unless I go to the point were my BPFSL will go past my BPEL but that will take years I think.

I had the same thing my morning/night wood stopped during hanging sessions and when I quit hanging for 2 weeks it came back. The rest of my PI’s were good so Im not worried, you shouldnt too.

5.5 a question for you. Did you settle on a 5 day on 2 day off split for convenience or some scientific reason? I ask because I could easily run 7 days a week if it was beneficial, but if there is a reason for the rest days I’d like to understand what it is. I can’t seem to remember reading anything about the rest days, just the benefits of the longer De-cons.

Hey 5.5, I have a few questions I’m hoping you can answer

1) For decon breaks, I see you tried edging 30 min/day as well as no edging. Is either method more effective?

2) Instead of edging with a cockring, do you think vacuum pumping for 30 minutes would be an ok decon regimen? Or is pumping too much of PE to be a decon activity.

3) You said you learned the “dick press” for after doing kegels for 6 weeks. What did you mean by that? Is that a kegeling trick to achieve an erection on demand, or something else?

I will do 60 days of hanging and then 4 weeks decon. But when you restart after a decon which weights should I start with? Im now at 0.75kg because I buildup the weights very slowly to prevent injuries. But lets say Im at 2kg before my decon. Should I start with 1kg buildup to 2kg in the next 60 days after my decon or should I start with 2kg and go heavier.

Because at some point its not good to go even heavier right? How do I know this?

You have to go by your own feeling. The weights you use is for me far to low to even get the slightest gains. I think the first time i ever hung I was hanging 2.5 kg and that was nothing speciell at all. There is no rules to this but one thing is sure 0,75 kg will get you zero gains IMO. I hang 1,25 1,75 2,0 2,25 2,5 2,75.
1,25 and 2,75 without heat.

In the first week of the new cycle trying reducing the weight. But keep good track of your strain. If its too low that should tell you if you need to increase weight or not.

Also 60 days of hanging may be too much.

Otherwise I agree with Patrik.

But I get a 1cm strain with 0.75kg? Why should I add up weights faster then every 2 weeks? Or is strain not telling you everything?

I doubt 1 cm strain pre BPFSL and post BPFSL is even possible without breaking anything in your dick.

Strain is measured in %. Do you mean 1cm change in length measuring from before to after hanging?

I have modified the Aroma Season heating pad to my demands. Thing is´´with this is - and probably with all heating pads - that proximity to the skin appears to be key to me. The pad inside the cushion is rather small, I reckon. It might not do for some penises out here. I attached Velcro stripes to the outside of the cushion to really tighten it fast. It does not alleviate the skewed distribution of heat around the penis due to the small and overlapping parts of the heating pad when curled around my penis. I either feel heat on my right or on my left side of the penis. I honestly am not convinced to achieve the desired intratissue heat with this pad and my modification of it. Will still try it out, though. Got no other choice left. Cannot return it anymore ;)
These are my experiences with the Aroma Season heating pad. The application of this pad has been mentioned a few times so I wanted to give it a go since the ThermaMed pad is not available in Germany/EU.

Don’t wrap it like that. Place the middle of the pad over your top or bottom side. Then bring the pad together at the other side of your dick. Then hold the pad together and wrap it around and Velcro it in place. This means you will bend one side of the pad over on top of itself but it gives better heat that just wrapping it around.

I hope that makes sense, it’s hard to explain these things sometimes.
