Wrapping drawings

Well, I got it, sorry for asking early !

I am struggling to get this wrap comfortable, I have theraband that came with my Bib but I do not know how wide I need to cut it? At the moment it is quite thin, maybe just over an inch and I can feel the edges cutting into my penis so clearly it needs to be wider but by how much?

Sharing my new hanging experience

Just to share my new found experience with hanging for the benefit of others trying this method for the first time:

I have been doing PE for some years and recently began hanging as part of my routine. It took me about a month to get it right, but now I can hang with comfort and am able to start increasing the amount of weight I subject my son to. I use a simple home-made hanger based on Tom Hubbard’s design, but soon I will make a Wench which seems to be a more comfortable and convenient hanging device. Hanging is an extreme method of stretching the internal ligaments of the penis. There are plenty of excellent threads which discuss the physiological action of hanging weights from the penis. If you are new to hanging I can only echo the warnings posted all over the forums: Injury is a real risk, so start with low weight (1 pound / half a kilogram) and gradually increase as you get confident with hanging and your unit’s reaction to it.

These are my observations from my first month of hanging:

1. Follow Bib’s wrapping instructions at the beginning of this thread to the tee.

Once you get the wrapping right, you will be on your way to effective hanging. Use a soft under-wrap (for comfort) followed by a theraband-like wrap (for grip). Make sure the under-wrap keeps skin drawn back (away from the glans). Specifically, if you are uncut, you want to enclose any fleshiness of the foreskin under the soft under-wrap. Do not attach the hanger if there is any skin or flesh bulging out between the wrap and the foreskin. The inevitable pressure from the hanger and weights will cause this flesh to become engorged with fluid which will be painful and hinder further hanging sets. Wrap theraband as firmly as you can without restricting bloodflow to the glans. The only way to get it right for your particular unit is to try, try and try again.

2. Attaching the hanger.

Now, attaching the hanger in a manner that suits your penis is the most critical challenge of hanging. Attach it too tightly and you will crush your son as well as choke him of valuable blood supply. Attach it too loosely and the weight/s will cause the hanger and wrapping to shift forward and bunch behind the glans, meaning you are effectively hanging weights from your penis skin (=pain) or worse, from a noose round your glans. Dangerous. Avoid this at all costs.

What you want to do with the hanger is to attach it by gripping the internal structures of the penis. If you handle the penis shaft between your thumb and forefinger you will feel a tough inner “chord” under the skin. This is the structure that the hanger must grip. Imagine the hanger’s opposite sides squeezing together tightly enough to hold onto this “chord” through the layers of wrapping and skin. Bear this in mind when you apply the wrap and tighten the hanger sufficiently so as to grip these inner penis structures.

Getting this part right is your main objective. Some guys on the forum begin hanging with minimal hassle. Others take months and somehow fail to get it right. It took me about 3 weeks to get to the point where I could attach the weights without pain or discomfort. You will have to find the magic combination of proper wrapping and suitable hanger adjustment for your particular unit. That is why I suggest starting with minimal weight. Your initial objective is to practice the techniques of wrapping and hanger attachment. Give yourself time to find out what works for you and to refine your wrapping+hanger attachment technique.

Once you can attach the weight and feel nothing but a deep and slightly painful (but in a good way) pull on the ligaments near their attachment to the pubic bone, when you only feel this deep stretch, then you can begin increasing the weight. Now you are hanging correctly. You want to fatigue your ligs every day and keep pulling them further and further. As Bib explains: when you hang you cause microscopic tearing in the ligs which the body then repairs, thereby causing additional tissue to be added in the microscopic tears. Repetition of this process leads to gradual lengthening of the ligs by millimeters every month until (over a period of a year or two) the penis has “grown” by inches.

3. Apply heat

From what I have read in these forums there seems to be consensus on the fact that warming of the penis and pubic area should be done before hanging. Many people also apply heat whilst they are hanging - most use either a rice sock or heat lamp. This makes sense to me, since another thread on the forums explains how the ligament tissues respond positively to heat when they are stretched.

Now that I have my hanger attachment technique down I feel no pain or discomfort when I attach the weights to the hanger. I am able to sit (or stand) at my home office desk and continue working whilst hanging. Bib and other experienced hangers report that they keep the wrapping on across several hanging sets without taking it off. This will be very convenient to do but I cannot keep the wrapping on for long as after each set I feel like my unit is gasping for fresh blood inflow and freedom from restraint!

Happy Hanging!

Excellent info farnwide, that pretty much sums up what I wanted to say. I’ve been practising hanging for a while and only recently as part of a routine, the advice you posted is spot on! My initial attempts at hanging were more experiments than anything else (see my thread in sig), but I now manage to use my cheap hanger as an ADS as well. It’s all about the setup and construction of the equipment you’re using, and applying heat before, during and after.

Isn’t this the opposite of what Bib now says. You do not drawn back the foreskin

May I ask do you actually have a foreskin? Because when I drawn back my foreskin and wrap the hanger
Will just slip forward with any type of weight attached

Hey, it would be good if you have a video of the wrapping.

I agree. A video would be great. Also what is a good ADS. Can an extender be considered an ADS or would wrapping with an ace bandage be a better ADS? Can someone please advise me on this. thanks

Great thread, but I have discovered that using tubular finger bandage under my padded home made bib hanger is quicker and easier. No hassle with winding and binding - just stretch it over with as many layers as you need. I am using two right now with a 2 kg weight and it feels quit comfortable!

No matter what I do or how I wrap I get the purple head penis. It doesn’t hurt and goes back to a normal color as soon as I take the hanger off but is it normal and unavoidable to a point?

I use cling wrap covered in yellow electrical tape while I hang that I leave on afterwards as an ADS of sorts.

I’ve been criticised for this but. It. Works.

Began December 2009 at 5 7/8" length and 5" girth.

As of December 5th 2012 7 3/8" BPEL and 6 1/8" base girth.

Going for the magic 8"x6"

If it works it works, wrapping is definitely the most individual aspect of hanging. I use SS material with a thin ace wrap followed by a short piece of wider ace wrap. Bot ace wraps are self adhering and work great. I tried t-band with no luck early on, the tried it again and got it correct and am now back to ace wraps.

Hi there who ever reads so I have my wrapping tools just wanted to no because am uncut do I pull the skin back before wrapping or not thanks
