A pump that maintains HG without repumping?

I am wondering if there are any pumps out there that you can pump up to 3hg and it maintain that pressure until you release, or at least maintain it for 5 minutes. I finally have the time plus the privacy to give pumping a serious go. I have toyed with it before but nothing that allowed me to get a month under my belt. I have tried two pumps with gauges and both I would have to pump every 20 to 30 seconds to maintain pressure.

Also do you think its best to go with an open end tube or one with a rubber ring around the bottom that you insert your penis into? I am thinking with a turkey neck maybe going the route with the rubber at the end. Let me know your suggestions please. Thank you!

an electric pump should do just that.

I’m not 100% sure, but it is my understanding that this is exactly what they do.

I gave up on hand pumps years ago. They’re noisy, the handles always break eventually, and as the pumps age they work less. If you can’t afford an electric pump, best way to go is just mouth suction.

Use a slightly bigger diameter airline tubing (HomeDepot) and you can suck up a quick 10 HG with one draw whereas it would take several hand tiring pumps to get the same suction on a Mighty-Vac. Just bite the hose with your teeth to hold pressure and suck when pressure starts to decline. I think the use of gauges are overblown as well. You can tell by the way it feels when you are using too much pressure. Just err to the side of caution. Less is more when it comes to pumping. More time in the tube at less vacuum wins the race.

Put you money in the tube, not the hand-pump.

If you are having pump every 20/30secs it sounds to me like you don’t have a great seal or have a leak in a connection somewhere,

As far as electric pumps go they are awful expensive , there’s a thread on how to make a cheap one in the pumpers forum.

I have nothing but good things to say about my LA hand pump and I`ve had it for years now with not a single problem, so my experience is not the same as Big Girtha. 5 pumps or so and I`m at my desired pressure.

From what you are describing you are either not getting a good seal or your setup got a leak somewhere. There is a differential diagnosis post at the top of this forum that should help you out. I experienced the same problem once, but I knew it was not normal. Re-pumping slightly every 5 minutes, MAYBE. Every 20 seconds? You`ve got a leak :)

I agree, Renholder. I am also sold on my LA hand pump. And everytime I have trouble getting or keeping a seal it is either because I don’t have enough lube or more commonly, it’s time for a pube trim.

Harbor Freight Brake Bleeder. Auto Magazines often have coupons to purchase it for $17. I use mine with Boston Pump and LAPump cylinders. I loose about 1/2 hg in ten minutes when I start and it eventually levels off for 20 minutes at a stretch with no change. It also comes with an over flow reservoir which you can use if you want to water pump.

I use my $21 electric pump daily, and its amazing! Read this thread, simple to make and use. I can adjust it anywhere from 0 to 5 in hg, constant steady pull and when hooked to the cylinder almost completely silent. Its only when it is not hooked to anything can you hear it.

I agree brake bleeders are so much better then the plastic hand pumps that come with penis pumps sold on the high street and the web, I have my set up like this and its great I do have to becareful though as after awhile I get pain at the base of my penis. I guess this is from having a vacuum that is slightly too high.

Thank you all for your input. I assumed you could pump and maintain HG with very little need to pump it back up, but i just wasn’t seeing it with mine. I think what i will do is go to the hardware store and buy a new valve for my tube, reseal it and give it a go. I’ll also try the sucking and cutting it off like “Big Girtha” suggested.

Now another quick question. I have pumped before on low HG with a lot of breaks for about an hour. Yes I did have some fluid build up, but i felt my penis in general was expanded in girth excluding that build up. So my question is this, if you take it slow and long and gain massive temp girth gains, does or has anyone get massive temp length gains in a pump?

My question is not to go out and over pump chasing these temp gains, it all boils down that I am a firm believer if temp gains can be achieved then eventually “some” permanent gains will follow.

Penox, it sounds like you are having a seal problem.

Check out the advice Lampwick and Petitfaun gave me in the thread below - with this advice, I can pump up to the HG I want, and it just stays there. No repumping. Maybe an occasional pump here or there if I move or something and knock the cylinder loose:

P.S. my pump is the harbor freight one. Have graduated to the $15.00 fish pump, but harbor freight one is still very handy for setting up the pressure of the fish pump. Of course I still do the lubing technique that Lamp and Petifaun taught me.

If you’re having to re-pump that often you definitely have a leak somewhere, either the female fitting on the cylinder, or the male fitting on the hose, or somewhere in the hand pump itself. If your pubes are trimmed and you are using lube the cylinder should hold pressure, unless, like sta-kool said, you move or knock the tube loose.

Another problem is milking the tube. This can keep you squeezing the pump as well, and we all know Milking is really a must with healthy pumping.
You might want to try sucking on the hose just to see if the leak is in the pump itself. But I bet once you try sucking the hose, you’ll just toss the pump.

Yes, my pubes are only slightly trimmed. No problem if the lube is done right (petitfaun and lamp) and the connectors are all good.

100% on the milking. But BG, you really outta try out the $15 fish pump mod. I think you would really like it. Quiet, consistent. Easy - just lube up your dick and stick it in. The fish pump pressure sucks your in and you are done. No hand pumping, no hose sucking. None of that stuff that can reallly get in the way when you want to pump. Makes pumping so streamlined, efficient, and easy.
