Vacuum Pumping 101

If you lube your glans (and shaft) very well, it won’t matter it they touch the sides. What you worry about is a dry cock inching and abraiding, (sometimes painfully) its way up the side walls to full erection.

My read, but gprent may have another opinion, you have too wide a tube for your girth. And you need a gauge to know where you are at all times pressure-wise.

Very good A is the grade on rateing , been pumping for 9Mo’s 1.5 long gain 1.75 gerth I have a much diffrentway measuring when I started I took a used tp roll and fit in it very easily now the head won’t begin to-fit do your gauging for yourself git the picture!

Thanks for your help avocet8.

I’m looking to get a new pump with 2” diameter and a gauge.

I’m going to try the pump I have with lots of lube.

Well, if it still works, that is.

I think you and Gprent are probably the masters on this one.

Have you ever used a stretcher as well?

Drager, those are really impressive gains.

Never stretched, except manually. Never hung.

I will try a 2.25 tube to see if I can reach 9 inches maybe I need to order a 12 inch length tube. It is very important to keep your pressure down and not to over pump. If you see you’re not getting your woodys it’s time to take a break. If you keep the pressure low no more red spots or blisters and take your breaks they are very important.

8 x 6 is very impressive.

What were your starting stats?

I am a newbie to PE (well, just about to complete my 3rd month of the newbie routine) and I’m not sure that I’ve noticed much of a difference. The wife tells me that my dick feels “thicker”, but I’m not sure that there’s much much, if any, change in EL. I have hesitated on measuring, as some say one should wait until you are through the first 3 months of PE.

I am considering getting a pump to take my PE’ing to the next level. I’m assuming that my PE routine has helped to condition my unit enough that pumping at low levels to start would be alright.

I read through this thread (read about 90% of the posts) and I feel a little overwhealmed. Is that LA shop still the best place to get a pump, even for a newbie like myself?

I ordered my pump from https://www.vacutech.com , and have been very satisfied. I ordered the thickwall cylinder. I saved some money by buying the pump from Harbor Freight:

Harbor Freight Tools – Quality Tools at Discount Prices Since 1977

It’s a very good quality metal pump with a gauge.

You will need the male adapter to connect the pump hose with the cylinder. In the thread Harbor Freight Vacuum Pump Sale, Gprent suggests McMaster-Carr, part number 5012K251 for $1.30 plus shipping and handling.

Gprent’s thread on cylinder sizing

Selecting Your Cylinder Size

will help you to get the right size cylinder.

Start with short duration at low pressure.

For Lampwick, becoming hung like a donkey was the result of a total commitment.

So it’s better to assemble a pump yourself (because of the better pump with a gauge) than to buy a complete one assembled with all of the parts?

I’ll definitely keep this in mind. Thanks.

Better? Maybe. If you wind up with a metal pump rather than a plastic pump, better. Certainly less expensive in return for the inconvenience of foregoing one stop shopping.

I kind of like the idea of buying my first system set and ready to go out of the box, professional with metal pump and gauge and a comfortable well fitting cylinder. You get it all from lapdist. I you are a college kid or strapped for cash you might want to piece it together, but after paying for 2 or 3 separate shipping charges, you don’t save much.

Thanks for the replies…..

I know that I’d be able to find a pump in my area at a local store, so there would be no shipping charges. I’m not a college student, nor am I strapped for cash, so money isn’t the issue. I think I’ve always enjoyed being a do-it-yourselfer, so assembling one strictly for the challenge appeals to me.

Avocet8,

I was just wondering about over pumping.

I’m waiting for my new pump to arrive.

I found my old pump with the 2.5” diameter and no pump.

The old pump doesn’t always work.

So, I’ve been pumping many times a day for the last few weeks. (I believe three weeks).

I used the ADS machine and clamp, here-and-there, as well.

Last night I noticed that I wasn’t really getting erect in the pump.

This evening I couldn’t even wear the ADS, as I kept slipping out.

I’m wondering if I’ve done some over pumping? Damage? Or just exhausted?

Either way, I’m going to take a break from all PE for a while.

I was unable to stay firm, when it counted, last week, as well.

I need to be able to be really hard for my trip in about 4 months. I’ll probably take the entire month prior off.

I am looking forward to using a pump with a gauge when I begin again.

Here is the pump that I have ordered:

Dr. Kaplan Premium Penis Pump Set

Claims:

# Intensify Ejaculation and Orgasm
# Add Length & Girth
# Increase Stamina
# Enhances Erection and Sex Drive
# Prevent Premature Ejaculation

Deluxe Hand Pump with Pressure Gauge, 2” cylinder.
