Today was an interesting session. We began with what was an obvious more forward position in the cradle, suggesting a recent accommodation and this resulted with the last 25% tension increase being greater than recent experiences. I kept it shorter to help preserve the glans condition. I’ll have to build up the duration as there is now a greater preload to begin with. This is important to note and was actually something that Kyrpa had measured, that at the margin the increase in tension is not linear. If you don’t have a setup to be able to actually measure it, you at least need to be qualitatively aware of it and pay attention to the impact that is being imparted on the tissues. There are a lot of useful qualitative ques, if you pay attention.

At this point I anticipate this is as far forward a position in the cradle that we’ll achieve and another 3 weeks should get us to maintenance.

We were able to get to session tension with the glans maintaining a more robust condition. I have to attribute that to the second session yesterday. This adds to the curiosity of wanting to explore multiple shorter sessions, or perhaps simply adding additional sessions throughout the week to the existing protocol. We might be a little light in terms of hours/week on this regimen, even with the higher tension approach. Something to explore.

This was another great session finishing with a robust glans condition at the end of the session and in which removal from the device was much easier. I have to think that the double sessions have been a help in facilitating the mechanotransduction process but with an “n” of 2 it’s entirely anecdotal. Perhaps the accommodation was happening concurrently. But this is for sure something I want to check in the future. I may examine this a bit during maintenance with shorter more frequent session weeks and weeks in which fewer longer sessions are utilized to see if anything can be inferred by that.

I am anticipating intimacy tomorrow night so no second session today to facilitate tomorrows potential EQ.

As it sits I believe we measured on November 4th and really got started ~ November 8th, so I’m going to shoot for a measurement three weeks from now in the May 6-8th time frame. I’m going to take a measure at the tip of the glans as has been the custom but also at the top of the noose as visually the tip of the glans has become challenging to observe with precision and the top of the noose is the point of measure I want to go by in the future.

Planning to go on maintenance and then restart after Thanksgiving. I am most curious about exploring the concept of diminishing returns, post collagen remodeling and post newbie gains. So comparing this campaign to the next one will give me that.
