Yes it’s going well - I can definitely feel something going on during the workouts and for the day after so let’s hope it translates to measurements later in the recovery!
I think I get it now, more or less, in terms of knowing what stress levels needed, or understanding at least empirically from sensations, what it means to expand tissues. I mean the other day after emerging from the low level pumping (which followed the TT work), my unit was really heavy and massive - had thought it was fluid build up or some such, but it stayed like that throughout the day (when using CC) and night. So it felt like the pre-TT and TT work really expanded the tunica, to the point that low pressure pumping could really then continue to gently push the expansion.
I am feeling that the manual stretch I do prior to the TT, really mobilizes the tissues in what I think is the tunica. I’m also doing some clamped squeezes and clamped stretches before TT and this also helps - reckoning that this mobilization/flex work helps the TT expansion. Anyway definitely need to warm up to the TT work and manipulate the tissues in my case. One interesting thing (for me anyway) is that I feel a much greater stretch on the inner/shorter side of the shaft during fulcrum stretches - initially I had thought it would be the other way around, due to the fact that the outer part seems to be going longer way around whatever it is I’m stretching around. But it seems the inner part that is in contact with the fulcrum cannot move in certain parts where it makes contact, and the stretch is going on between the hand and this pressure point.
I’ll be interested to try your weekend routine at some point in future - will continue with the thing I’m doing now for the mo probably. Which is a 3-week I-phase (now understanding the benefit of 2 day rest between workouts) followed by 3-4 weeks with CC, followed by 3 months off.
