JT's Progress Thread, from Day 1.

Just stopping in to say that I added an exercise to the end of my hanging session. I have been having a seriously good flaccid and EQ since I added this in a few days ago! I am doing OTL bundled stretches. So after I finish I do the following:

I drop the weight to 1.59 lbs then:
Twist clockwise, hang OTL right side, 3 minute timer.
Twist counterclockwise, hang OTL left side, 3 minute timer.

I do a couple sets, so far 3 or 4 each side. The weight is light, and it feels like a great finisher. This is all done while still being taped up and having the total man vac hanger on me. That thing is so handy for doing manuals and stuff like this. For anyone struggling with bundled stretches this is a great solution.

I was hoping someone would see this and drop in for some feedback. Does anybody have opinions on the following regimen: 14 days of hanging followed by up to 7 days of rest. I am trying to formulate a recipe that will allow for a long term hanging plan, not following the 6 weeks on 1-2 weeks off protocol. Any thoughts are welcomed, although soon enough I will be experimenting with this myself, letting my PIs guide the way.

Wow, lately I have been taking quite the trip down the rabbit hole into the “old days” of this Forum. Going back to the postings of the famous members almost 20 years ago. Stuff was groundbreaking at the time. These fellas really paved the way for us. I am back to my routine after a forced decon due to a miniature vacation. But from here on out it should be steady cruising ahead. The only issue I am currently facing is the porn addiction being unstoppable. Really struggling with this.

In terms of my actual routine though, my penis seems to be “in the zone” of PIs. After my hanging session I am left with a larger flaccid for the entire day. I plan to use my PIs to guide the way forward, and do another official measurement a few months down the line.

I keep a text file open to paste notes into, and I use the “save page” function in my browser to save whole threads into a PE directory so I can find them again later.

There’s gold in them thar archives… but after more than twenty years online, it’s also a maze of twisty little passages when you’re trying to find something.

Thunder’s search function is actually quite good, but there’s just so *much* stuff to index…

It’s pretty insane. Honestly after reading through so much material I feel like my own progress log is almost a disservice to this forum in a way. It is so basic compared to the science based thinking of those before me. But alas, I will continue.

Nothing to report right now. PE has been more infrequent since the new job started. Been more along the lines of hanging one day on, one day off. Also have been extremely sick the past week so that has sucked.

No, your progress log is fine. It’s *your* log; it’s where you post your progress, off-topic comments, or general chat that would otherwise clutter the forum.

Take a look at how many people have started a log, and how few of them are still updating it. The threads will start getting old by the bottom of the first page, and there are 5,916 logs here in the public section and 6,642 logs in the private section. Almost all of them full of cobwebs, dust, and the occasional dead spider.

Maybe you’re not doing anything revolutionary or making awesome progress; you’re still here and reporting, and they’re not.

Thank you Andy. Those are very kind words. I do appreciate it. My new schedule is wreaking havoc on my life a little bit. I still have a lot of time for PE but it is taking some getting used to the potential restructuring of the great start I had to this hobby.

Hello guys. My life has been very hectic as of late but I have still been doing PE. What are my setbacks from the consistency I had before? Well my new job, new stresses, and porn addiction back in full fury. I am trying to take it one day at a time. Here is my new routine which I have had in practice for a week now.

So the entire “cycle” lasts 21 days. This is a little complicated but It is what it is.

First 14 days of PE are one day hanging, followed by one day of AM1. Then we have 7 days where If I am home I will keep consistently doing PE. So over a long period of time, a minimum of 75 percent of days can be spent consistently pursuing this hobby of mine. Yes it is an odd setup but this is the only way I can maintain a form of consistency. I am seeing some good results and positive PIs rolling in again, and I will be whipping out the ruler at the end of July.

Here to report growth! I was laying in bed yesterday and messing around with my member while chatting with this girl. I grabbed the ruler and was able to see 6.75 BPEL while laying down. This is cool because this is not a current MAX EQ measurement. The last time I hit 6.75 BPEL it was at absolute max EQ, not while laying in bed and messing around. Which means I have grown! Although slightly, I am growing. I am going to keep doing what I am doing, I feel like the Angion Method helps a lot. I did some digging and I understand the controversies around it on this forum, but man it is very beneficial for EQ, and for having an exercise to enjoy on a day when you are not hanging.

One thing I would like to discuss is that I have not really increased my weights for hanging for a while. Taking sufficient rest and going with your PIs really allows you to keep the weights low. My max weight is 5.3 lbs during cool down. I have altered the setup a little bit and It is as follows, I am experimenting with using heat the whole time until cooldown.

2.12 lbs - 3 mins heated
2.65 lbs - 3 mins heated
3.18 lbs - 3 mins heated
3.71 lbs - 15 mins heated
4.24 lbs - 15 mins heated
4.77 lbs - 15 mins heated
5.3 lbs - 15 mins heating pad removed cool down.

So as I said before, for the most part I am doing hanging one day, AM1 on the next day, and repeating this. I wanted to thank those who swung by and commented in my initial stages here, and helped give me a lot of valuable advice. Thanks to Andy for being a cool friend here, and thanks to 5.5 for giving us a solid template to base a hanging routine from. I hope to reach 7” BPEL by the end of the year. I would be quite happy. I am setup with the consistency to be able to keep at this hobby so here is hoping.

Keep it up man! Definitely happy for your gains. You are the second dude I heard talk about Angion. Very curious about it. Have not committed to it though. Keep up the gains man 7” in no time!

There are several threads about Janus Bifrons and his Angion Method. Most of them are extremely long.

The problems weren’t with his routines, which weren’t much different from the jelq-of-the-week fads, but his theories about how and why growth happened, which a number of members felt were, if not whack-a-doodle, then unsupported by evidence. Frankly, I wasn’t interested enough to dive deeply enough into it to form my own opinion. Also, his attitude got on the tits of a lot of people.

If Angion looks interesting to you, I don’t see any reason not to give it a shot.

Those are all fair points, and I did read through his original threads here, and I understand the controversy. But I got to say, it definitely feels great!

Been a while. Nothing at all new to report. Had to cut down to doing even less PE than before. Juggling the crazy work schedule is not bad but the gym eats up a lot of time and I find my self only hanging on my rest days. I have to start experimenting with some new methods, for example, hanging with my usual routine and weights as dictated in my last writeup, and find a shorter routine to do on the evenings of gym days. I still am consistent but the total time under tension is going way down.
