First, how long are you warming up and what are you doing for it? What’s your total routine time? And exactly how long have you been at PE? How many weeks have you taken off? What else did you notice when gains stalled and what were you doing at that time?

It’s hard for me to give you perfect advice but…it’s certainly possible but I’ll need details. The X4 Labs Extender is a good one, I used it, but the Size Genetics is a fine product as well. If you weren’t in the UK I’d sell you mine.

I close the clamp until the blood wont come out. So I push down the clamp and it slowly rises up, then I need another click. Another click then push the clamp down and Kegel. When I release from pushing the clamp down I have a load of pressure in my penis (Usually 8 to 9 clicks) that requires a push down every minute or so. I used to use 10 clicks, so fully closed but now I am back to 8 or 9.

I started in the last week of April. Wrap wrap for 3-5 minutes. Then, stretch in 4 directions for 10 seconds, 10 reps. A and V shaped stretch 10 seconds for 5 reps each. I also do 50 wet jelqing, 2-3 seconds strokes; double erect squeeze for 10 seconds and ten reps, double squeeze 10 seconds and ten reps, and flaccid bend for 5 seconds and ten reps. This resulted to .25” gained in length and .19” in girth. (3 months, 4 days a week).

Then, i increased to 20 seconds stretch with 5 minute warm up using a heating pad and warm it in between sets. But 100 jelqing (4 days a week). My girth still gained for .7”.

Now that I have Bathmate, I warm up for five but stretch for 30 seconds (two weeks). For the last week, I put more pressure. With no gains. I will wait for a month and see if I gain. If not, I have to reavaluate my method.

Way too early for frustration. Seeing gains every week is uncommon so you’ve been lucky. I recommend 2 weeks off after your next month. Rest, evaluate and just be easy. You’re doing great. Believe me.

Thanks mate, thats a good description. I tighten until I feel the pressure pushing the clamp back into my fat pad. Good to see you are needing less clicks to get that. Bring on those gains, keep it up.

It is kind of a balance so that I can push the clamp down into the fat pad, kegel and blood will go in, but it is slow to come out. So when you release the clamp after pushing into the fat pad and Kegeling, you get a rush of pressure as the blood behind the clamp, under the fat pad, pushes the clamped blood under pressure. Some level of arousal helps.

Since a bit of growth, when I go to 10 clicks I can’t push the blood unto the penis by pushing the clamp into the fat pad and Kegeling. That is the balance for me. After pushing the clamp into the fat pad I release it gently to ensure the pressure is not too intense.

When pushing the clamp into the fat pad and Kegeling you create a lot of pressure on the clamp and several have failed with the ratchet bit snapping off. Now I support both sides of the clamp as I push it into the fat pad. And always squeeze the clamp into the next click and then a little more. This allows the ratchet to fully engage and prevents breakage. Also the plastic either side of the ratchet may need to be squeezed together so the ratchet is not off center and again prone to breakage.

That’s nearly an Extreme ULI level of pressure, by your description. That’s impressive. Tell you that much. You may want to post individually on your clamping techniques, times you use and why you use this method. Sounds interesting.

I’ve never pushed the clamp onto the fat pad myself but my base is thicker than the rest, enough that I’m certainly not interested in going as far down the shaft as possible. But my penis and needs differ from yours due to shaft proportion difference. I’d settle for Mid Shaft girth alone, base be damned honestly.

It’s normal to be impatient, especially being a part of a community of people constantly reporting gains. The only benefit to the PE journey taken solo was never feeling as though I could be getting bigger faster. That didn’t set in for the first 3 years, as I was not active enough anywhere other than X4 (and no one in that tiny forum was gaining that fast) and I didn’t care to be.

Remember, it’s your journey. Ups and downs. Bound to slow and speed up, gains ebb and flow. If we all gained .1” every week consistently we would all hit our goals within a year, guaranteed. *chuckles*

The Extender, looking back: Thoughts of a man once on the rack

If you’re reading this, you probably have read post #1 and have some dim recollection that I started the PE journey over 7 years ago and with an extender. The X4 Labs Gold Edition that kinda spawned this name (thoughtfulgold: The Origin Story don’t worry it’s super short) and now, I’m going to talk about what I think about the extender style traction device and also tell a Size Genetics story and how I should have taken more marketing in college instead of technical writing.

When I first started PE…it was a mission to correct curvature. No more, no less. I stand by this because quite frankly I thought Penis Enlargement was bullshit. Full stop. But, this thing was supposed to offer relief for Peyronie’s Disease (which I don’t actually have, thankfully) and correct congenital curvature (which I do in fact have) so…I clumsily strapped it on for around 2 years or a bit less.

Here’s my secret extender routine!!

Use Extender from 2-4 hours.
Use Extender no more than 2 days in succession due to discomfort.
Use Extender no more than 4 hours due to erection issues and dryness and rawness of glans from noose foam.
Use 700-800 grams of tension, more causes comfort and detachment issues

That literally was all I did to make the X4 work for…what seems like the entire time I extended. I did figure out what the tension levels meant and i kept it on the first level of tension because…with a noose I couldn’t keep the damn thing attached unless I wanted it far tighter than was comfortable. So it was around 700-800 grams of tension average. Simple as that.

I gained 1.3" in length and .75" in girth and a lot of flaccid size.

I know this because I religiously measured for the first 3 months and remember vividly the bone pressing for 6.25" hoping for more and engineering a string that let me add the curve for 6.75" length or almost 7" when I was feeling delusional. I used to argue that the lateral curve counted and sometimes I still argue this point but my BPEL straight out was 6.25", never mind my wicked curve.

Girth, my dreams were decidedly more modest. My base girth was 4.9" and no amount of delusion pushed it to 5" and my middle girth was .5" less than that or so. Which was 4.4" or a touch less at 4.375" but I couldn’t and didn’t split hairs on that, as I was mentally counting my girth at 5" due to my base and I dreamed of 5" girth midshaft. Dreamed…a long time. These days, at the time of this post, my flaccid girth midshaft is around 5.5" but this is years and years later.

I like the extender concept. My flaccid length has become so variable and I truly hated the noose attachment so it’s no longer practical for me. It was not comfortable for me from the beginning but it has shown promise with many users, both on the X4 Forum I used to frequent and across the community. I like my time I spent with the extender. It gave me real, actual usable and visible results. It rewards patience and some form of consistency pretty well as long as you’re both diligent and careful.

So obviously, when some company started giving me some kind of "New and Improved" spiel with "Money Back Guarantee" I had to get in on it, even though I knew extenders weren’t practical for my advanced stage of PE. I mean looking back, I was taken so good with the marketing that when I opened the box I almost expected to see something that wasn’t a carbon copy of the X4 Labs Gold gathering dust from 6 years ago (at the time). Unfortunately, I was not to have such a thing as a product that actually worked differently. It’s a traction device, whether by Size Genetics or by X4 Labs. It has the same noose, comfort strap system that the X4 Labs has. And the rods are all steel colored instead of gold which is obviously my thing now so it lost tons of bonus points. *smirks*

Now, I’m off to the races. Size Genetics offered a money-back guarantee and I’ll be damned if I was going to sit out on my damn money! Emailed them, asked for an RMA. They gave me the run around. I demanded an RMA again, telling them the device was unusable due to my size (I did not elaborate) and that I wasn’t going to wait 6 months and continue using it. They concurred, giving me permission to return this thing…to the United Kingdom.

Let me also state, I ordered this thing and it was supposed to ship to me in 3 days. It got to me overnight. They have them stashed in warehouses in my state and probably others so they don’t come from across the Atlantic Ocean. That’s just logistics. So I of course asked why I couldn’t return it to the warehouse. Cost was prohibitive and Customs would take months with it, cuz Customs just does that shit. Nothing doing so I let the matter drop for like 7 months. I was not going to mail some box to Europe and pay like $110 to hope they’ll approve the return.

Then times got thin and I knew if I wanted to make the bet, I’d have to try it soon. So I started in December of 2015. I get the same customer service rep I’m used to, Luke, and it is time for me to send it. I wrote the address exactly as it appeared and I went to the post office. Of course…I knew that you would have to do a customs form BUT you can’t list the contents as "spare parts". So what does that mean?

It means I spent the next hour or so 1 on 1 with the older male clerk writing in big print "Penile Traction Device" on the customs form to his satisfaction. That we spent a lot of this hour searching for the proper address in the UK because what I was given just didn’t seem right and when the clerk searched destination addresses it wouldn’t come up. But we found someplace to send it, I paid like $85 to send it…got a tracking and custom number which I saved in my email and I left. Mortified. Annoyed. Irked. But Victorious.

This is where I tell you that they got the package some time in January and I got my money refunded, right?

Now I’m checking my tracking and customs number about once or twice a week. As predicted, it got hung up in customs for not 2 but 4 months. And sometime in April it appeared to be headed towards its destination. I let it rest at that time but…this of course is a poor decision. I check it in May I think it is…tracking number is active and says something about the destination being a certain house in Ohio…it's coming back here!!!

I go from like 7 to 11 on the "Now I’m Mad" scale. I’m sending nasty emails using that stupid contact form, some of which got lost and ignored and it took me 2 weeks to get a response (by this time that box has landed on my doorstep and I don’t know if my brother actually read the fucking customs form TAPED TO THE OUTSIDE OF THE BOX OR NOT) and it isn’t my ‘friend’ Luke but…some other rep named Fran who doesn’t seem to know Luke or anything about my return authorization number. This of course is protracted over weeks, I mean some messages got responses, some didn’t. I was able to gather she had no clue what I was talking about and was about to ask me to send the product back when I decided pictures of the battered and returned box were in order.

A month later she got back to me saying that the refund would be coming. Including my shipping cost, as I paid some dumb amount to get the box back on my porch. After two more weeks of gentle reminders…she almost seemed perplexed that the refund hadn’t been issued. Then I got an email from someone else. This guy:

And he advised me that he had just acquired Size Genetics recently. This led me to believe that Fran was handling my claim and clueless about it because Luke was no longer with the company (though Peter never admits to that) and he tells me that he’ll refund my money even though I was unable to return my device. My last communication with him was July 7th and a couple days later the cost of the device was returned to my Paypal (without the added shipping, because why should he? *rolls eyes*).

After that fiasco ended, I decided to start back up on PE and I started legwork on pump sleeves. That research led me to Thunders (again) and I registered to ask a couple questions in late July and now I’m here. With my almost new Size Genetics Extender. Thinking about how I needed to pay more attention in marketing class back in college.

Day 8 of Forced Decon: Lessons from a PE related burn injury

If you’ve been following along, you’ll remember last week sometime I posted that I burned myself pumping Cylinder heat- Modulate it before you blister the base of your penis where it seals. and learned one valuable lesson. Here on the 8th day let’s talk about what I’ve been doing in the interim and what you can expect if you burn yourself in a similar fashion.

First off, please don’t burn yourself. It sucks and it leaves a mark and marks are embarrassing. Right now I’m planning on using the “Cooking Naked” excuse if I actually end up with a sex partner while this thing is still in the ugly and obvious pink stage. This is a perfectly feasible story given my personality type and hate of clothes but if you’re super straight-laced you may not be able to pull that one off and may need another, more believable excuse. Good luck.

Second, be patient. If you’ve ever had a burn or a nasty surface abrasion then you know there’s a scabbing period. Do not peel off these scabs!. You will regret it. It’ll give you slower healing, more time itching and a much slower time regaining your natural skin coloration. I am telling you I learned this from other burns in my life before burning my penis and with a .5 to .75” width burn on the topside of the base of my penis right in the middle of it…you really don’t wanna screw with that. I’m telling you.

Third, and this is obvious but I’m going to state it here. Lay off of PE until your skin is unbroken. I’m telling you, PE will aggravate this for the most part. I can’t do any downward stretch due to the skin constriction of the celluloid tissue (and I’m black so it’s raised and vicious) or it’ll cause pain. I can’t squeeze below it because that skin doesn’t want to stretch right now. Perhaps in time it’ll get malleable but…basically, I’ve had to cool my damn jets for the last week. Not too happy about this but…that’s exactly what I had coming.

In the original linked post up top I talked about burning myself for a second time. That, in itself was a flaw in my logic and reasoning. The burn was minor, healed to full in a few days. I overlooked it. This burn was much less minor, more painful, the blister was pretty radical and popping the top layer still had a lower layer with fluid in it I could feel that I wasn’t going to go digging with a needle to pop because who digs in their penis with a needle around the dorsal vein?! I walked into this by not preparing properly. As I could use Ace Bandage to modulate the heat if I knew that this hotwater bottle heating pad tended to get too damn hot and I did know this. But I wanted maximum heat. I had to have it for expansion purposes. And now I freakin’ got it.

Time will tell when I no longer see the pink triangle (almost heart shaped) burn/scar mark. I’ll drop a post here when it no longer is aggravating to look at. But…on Day 8, all I can say is care and diligence.

All injury can be avoided. We are our own worst enemy in PE.

Hone your technique then post it when you’re ready. Any innovation is good to share. After all, we are all here to learn. I just noticed you use a nonstandard technique that I myself was unfamiliar with. So, may be of some benefit to others as well.

Navel Gazing #1: Will I hang again?

I am anti hanging. Mainly because I hurt myself and it’s complicated to do right without mishap. But…I have a notable length gains stall going on. I think it has to do with Dorsal thickening. But whatever it is, it needs some serious stress to be dealt with. And length stress is topped out with hanging, in theory and practice. I won’t risk surgery at my current size (8.75x6) because the chance of a poor result is not only not worth it but I am not in a situation where length gains are a desperate need. Or a need at all.

Keeping it in perspective, I just was thinking about thoughtfulgold’s Penis Enlargement as "Scheduled Trauma" theory and thoughtfulgold’s Edging Theory which I wrote today. I’ll probably write about pumping, the technique and purpose of my usage and then…well…how can I ever write about hanging if I don’t do it, find gains and master it? I want to write about more so I can help more guys.

I’m not the only person who can write. I’m not the only one with a log. But, I seek knowledge and the more I learn, the more I can give. And I may hang again…just to learn and stop being intimidated by it. Not now, maybe not soon.

But eventually. Me and my Bib will reconcile. Count on it.
