Any nerve sensation going down your leg to your foot is your sciatic nerve and will be unrelated to your penis. If it comes on when over-worked or after sex and not at other times, it’s almost certainly being impinged upon by a tight muscle (most commonly quadratus lumborum or piriformis). If it was constant it would most likely be a disc problem at the 4th/5th lumbar vertebrae.

Thanks man, ye not sure really, it’s a weird one but definitely the sensation in leg is linked to penis as it specifically happens after a session so not even any bodily thrusting going on. Anyways I live with it but wanted to see if anyone had an idea. I work in the health industry and I know A Lot about physical injury so I’ve ruled out any bodily muscular problem. This is def some kind of nerve impingement linked to penis weirdly, anyhow thanks for the reply. And stay safe everyone, slow and steady wins this race.

Penis unresponsive insensitivity

Hi Firegoat,
Much appreciate you contributing this list of questions, it really helps to organize a description of one’s condition. Thank you.
Here below are my answers. I’m appealing to the collective wisdom on this site to make suggestions as to ways to proceed with (in short) a condition of penis insensitivity, fully described below.
Thanks again.

Before going into symptoms, I will explain what I’ve done and how:

- Newbie technique: Started w/low repetitions (50-70/session); after 6 weeks I had increased to 100reps/session; 2 days on,1 day off, at 60-80%erection. At first ( 2-3 weeks) used palm facing up technique, then changed to palm facing down, which felt more effective. I lifted the hand slightly during the jelq, so not to touch the nerve running lengthwise on top, and would squeeze along the jelq stroke up to about 1/2” from glans. In this process, the fingers’ O-ring pressure would be mostly on sides and bottom.

- Up to 6 weeks into the process, I did notice, minor loss of sensitivity and perhaps ‘extra’ flaccidity. I thought ”it must be part of the process” plus, I must admit I lost some objectivity from the excitement of small gains becoming measurable.

- 2 months into the process and beginning to see small results I made some changes. I decided to go ” full Newbie Technique” as prescribed on this website. That is, 150-200reps/session. I also read on the website that jelqing at 20-50% erection was better, and that ‘edging’ also needed to be done for 10-12mins after each session, to ”help with blood irrigation after each session”.
So, I made all these changes, without really understanding the implications.
================================================== ======

> What symptoms do you have?

- Only 3 weeks into the more intense, ‘Full Newbie Technique” , the insensitivity on the sides became more noticeable.
- At flaccid state, the ‘extra’ flaccidity was more visible and pronounced. While standing, the shaft muscle would just fold down at its origin (near bone), similar to an over-bent garden hose
- Erections feel softer in muscle tone.
- Morning wood became sporadic
- Also, we know that normally in any penis state (flaccid - erect) we can move our cocks by contracting its muscles. Well now, I can only move it (by contraction) during erection, not when flaccid. Thanks to the many Kegels I’ve done (and continue to do), I’m able to react/move with the Kegel-related muscle, but get not reaction from the innervation on the penis itself. This my most worrying concern, with no idea if there is any possible remedy. It’s analogous to ”trying/intending” to lift your index finger, and the finger just sits there, doesn’t move.
It may be, that by doing 150-200reps/session palm facing down, squeezing on the sides, I may have ”frayed” some innervations there. This might also explain the insensitivity on both sides.
Curiously, when erect, the sensitivity seems to improve, not fully, but noticeably.

> How long have you had them?

- I stopped jelqing 3 months ago, after reading, a brilliant post by forum member ‘Sparkyx’ (to whom I owe a huge thank you!) His post was a warning to Newbies like myself, identifying the signs of trouble. I think this post should be integral to the Newbie Technique process. It’s critical for other men to understand how to assess the quality of their practice.
So anyhow, I stopped immediately after recognizing the symptoms he describes and let my cock rest, at this point for 3 months.

> Have they been the same over that time or have they got better/worse?

- There have been some improvements: the completely ‘over-flaccid’ state that I characterized as ‘over-bending like a garden hose’ is gone. I now have better muscular tone and my cock hangs down without bend-breaking like a garden hose.
- the insensitivity however, still remains on the sides with the inability to move it, specially when flaccid.

> Have they improved for periods of time (e.g. When you are on holiday or doing different
Work)
- some improvement over time, resting from jelqing, but unrelated to a change of activity

> If symptoms have improved or gone away for periods of time, how long did they improve for?
- What improved, as noted above, is the muscle ‘tone’ at flaccid state. This seem to be a permanent improvement.

> What makes the symptoms better? (think hard about these - anything from less PE/masturbation to drinking more H2O to doing meditation etc. Is useful info)
- For the partial improvement I’ve had, what seems to have worked is simply that I allowed the ‘poor guy’ to rest

> What makes the symptoms worse? (think hard about these - anything from a hard day at work to alcohol or lack of sleep etc. Is useful info)
- There seems to be no change in this regard

> Are there certain times of day the symptoms are better or worse?
- Not in my case

> Are the symptoms better or worse when you are in certain positions (e.g. Sitting, standing, laying prone or supine)?

- This is an interesting question. I noticed that if I’m sitting and cross my legs, ankle-over-knee (not knee-over-knee), my cock might be squeezed by clothing in a way that pinches the skin without my realizing it, due to the insensitivity. Just today I discovered the redness of a pinch on one side and I don’t know when it happened. So, the insensitivity is for sure a serious concern.

> Have you seen a medical professional with your symptoms?
- Not yet. Frankly, I was unconsciously trying to avoid it, though now it’s looking like I’ll have to do it.

> What type of doctor?
- Well, that is a question for this forum. Which doctor would be the right one?
- Are there specialists in ‘male medicine’ of these issues? In general internists could handle it, I would think, but perhaps the wisdom from people in this forum point in other directions. I’d like to hear opinions/suggestions.

> What did they say?
- N/A

> Did you have any tests?
- No, haven’t had any tests. What tests exist for my cock insensitivity condition? What test should I request? Please comment.

> How do you think your condition/symptoms occurred? (Be very honest here, or no-one can really help you, e.g. Don’t say you did a few gentle jelqs if you strangled you penis, or that you did a bit of stretching if you stretched as hard as you could, or that you tried clamping if you wore a constricting device all night…)

- I’ve thought a lot about this and my sense is that it all went wrong when jelqing at less than 50% erection with the same force of the 60-80% erection. I’m thinking I may have squeezed ‘the fellow’ too much, specially at the beginning of the jelqing squeeze, at the top. I now think it may have been a bit too much pressure, on too soft a tissue. This is only my speculation, without any real anatomical understanding of allowable/acceptable range of pressure/force a this location.

> Is there anything else you can add that may be useful to know about yourself or your condition?
- No, I think I’ve fully explained. Should there be any additional clarification needed, please do let me know.

Many thanks,
Mobono

Hi Mobono.
Reading all that (thanks for taking the time to give proper details!), I can’t see anything that would have caused an actual injury. Much of what you describe is more typical of the tissues being tired, but I would have expected them to have recovered with a couple of weeks + of rest.
20% erection would be much too low for jelqing as there wouldn’t be enough blood in the penis to actually move it and cause expansion. But equally likely the worst you could have caused by fairly strongly jelqing an under-erect penis is a bit of internal bruising that would have also resolved fairly quickly.

The unerect penis is generally not very sensitive anyway - after doing PE for a while, which naturally makes us quite attentive to what our penis feels, we often get our first minor injury and in worrying about it imagine that our penis used to be more sensitive than it in fact ever was. A large part of that comes from the fact that our brain has to interpret signals from the nervous system and alot them a degree of sensitivity.

That’s why we don’t constantly get erections from rubbing against pants or flopping about in running shorts, yet a gentle rub through clothes from someone we find attractive produces a response; our brain heightens the physical sensation. Minor injuries often make us question whether things feel exactly as they did before, and if we think they don’t, we start ‘looking’ for whatever we think the change is, every time we touch our penis.
The penis only really becomes sensitive to friction once it’s erect. And although people expect it to be sensitive to other stimuli also, it’s not very sensitive to heat either - if heating with an IR lamp you have to have the back of your hand (which is temperature sensitive) next to your penis or you’re in genuine danger of ‘cooking your sausage’! Yet people intuitively ‘think’ their penis will be heat/cold sensitive.

If you are still getting erections, and you perceive a change in sensitivity but don’t have any actual chronic numbness/paresthesia then I wouldn’t worry about it; there’s not likely to be any long term damage from the relatively mild PE you have done, just a slight change in the way your nervous system is interpreting signals. Jelqing firmly on a mostly flaccid penis, to your nervous system, is a bit like guys who always masturbate aggressively; they often have to retrain their penis sensitivity to be able to achieve orgasm from other forms of less harsh stimulation. Your nervous system will adjust back in time.

Penis Turtling

Hello,
I took finasteride for 3 weeks topically
Also took saw palmetto for 2 month
That was back in January and stopped them then but had gyno symptoms
I didn’t have sexual side effects then
I started using bathmate every day during March and april
Around may 26 my penis appeared very different in flaccid mode
And now its fully turtled when flaccid like all the time. If I walk to workout it goes inside tip still visible but it’s just retracted I am circumcised. It’s very disturbing feeling never had it before. I have zero hang like before.

Hormones: test and free test came normal
I stopped bathmate since as well
Not sure what to do how do I get rid of the turtling it’s ruining my life

Please help
Thanks

Hello bought a penis pump water based like three weeks ago used it three times felt like it was working only 5 minute sessions also warmed up for 5 minutes, masturbated alot during that time. Now I’m have not gotten an erection for a couple a days not even at night or morning could this be penis fatigue or something else no pain at all feel a little sore on left side of my pubic area but not much. Is this serious or not also been stressing hopefully its fatigue and psychological. Chances I hurt my self seriously. Any suggestions, thank you.

Without knowing more detail, it does sound like the combination of pumping plus alot of masturbation over stressed and fatigued your penis. Stop PE/pumping activites and masturbation and let your penis rest and recover for a few days.

Initial: 7” BPEL; 6” NBPEL; 5.25” - 5.5” MEG

Current: 7-7/8” BPEL; 7-3/8” NBPEL; 8.5” BPFSL; 6.5” MEG; 6”x5” Flaccid.

Goal: Improved/consistent EQ while managing ED. Secondary: maintain current stats.

Thank you 32quarters for the quick response hopefully that’s all that is I am try not stressing over it and relaxing avoiding all activities.

Hi, I have a very simple doubt if I use cold water for cooldown I will loose gains or winning less?

Hey, can someone say me what is the minimum routine I need for sustain gains?

Blood! Ghastly blood has engorged my member to outrageous proportions, like horror show (just in time for Halloween!). Blobby mess, I called him Blobby. It sweated blood droplets on its bald head, fat body all around him swollen like a vampire maggot. Yet a bloody Jabba the hut comes to mind as well.. The horror, the horror!

No more blood. It is now spewing and regurgitating green substance, similar to pea soup! It is also speaking to me in Aramaic! Lord please help me!

My glans head is now spinning.! Oh gawd no please.
