I ordered the “RUISQM” branded pad from Amazon and so far so good. I tried the “AKYSUN” pad before but the middle section of lights stopped working after 3 weeks so I returned it. Others have ordered from aliexpress but I chose to use Amazon so that I could return the pad if it wasn’t good quality.

I’m fresh off of a 3 year decon and Was going to start a routine soon with a strain extender following Kypra’s and Tutt’s principals for elongation, which I’ll make a thread on when I do. Targeting strictly length.

Just read through this entire thread and can’t say I’m too convinced if NIR is superior to US or not for the purposes I would use it for. Can anyone chime in who’s tried both give their opinion on which one is superior in the application I’d use it for or in general? Has anyone reported gains from this is any facet? I’d love to use both but according to the posts here they can’t be combined due to US canceling out the effects of NIR supposedly. I’m leaning towards using US as that seems more tried and true.

Also how long does NIR take to take effect? Because In this thread it’s discussed that US will cancel out the NIR effects If done near the same time. But if the gap is big enough in between US and NIR applications could both be utilized effectively? Like say if there was a US strain extender session with a 6 day gap in between US strain sessions, could NIR be utilized on day 3 after the US strain extender session without a PE session to maybe minimize the amount of strain % you normally usually lose as you progress in a US strain routine and to also fend off an impending needed decon as you progress? I guess my question is would a 3 day gap in between US and NIR allow you to reap the benefits of both, what is the minimal time gap one should have in between US and NIR sessions?

Although, it seems that NIR could be beneficial for maybe recovering from a decon more quickly. But that’s just a hunch I have from reading posts on this forum.

I’d love to hear your opinion and anyone elses on these questions I presented in this post, thank you for this thread and info.

Hi everyone.

I am up to buy one of those pads but they look significantly big for the purpose.

I assume that all those guys currently using them also use extenders or any other traction device to make things easier and (maybe) maimizing the effects of radiation?
I am with manual exercises at the moment and not planning, for now, to get any additional gear other than de NIR pad.

Any hints or concerns about using the NIR pad without an extender would be appreciated.

I think this is a question for you, rather than for me. You certainly have more data and experience with temperature measures on PE.

If I remember well, you said 41C is the threshold above which you start seeing effect on growth with US.

If that’s true, it means around 40C the collagen matrix starts destabilizing, which implies IR do not work the way it does at lower temperatures.

Not sure if I missed it being addressed somewhere, but do we know if the NIR passes through silicon sleeves so it would be useful while hanging, or only in going through a clear plastic pumping tube?

I prefer wearing the pad at the beginning, to make sure that the extender is on right when (and after) the IR effect on cells is at maximum.

This is what I’m doing. Just got my pad. My BPEL is 7.125", gained 0.125" since I started back in August, mostly from hanging (around 11 pounds BTC, OTS and some on the sides).

Morning routine:
1.) Put on my homemade extender (I’m not warming beforehad, I realized that this morning and will do so moving forward)
2.) Wrap with pad
3.) Set to 850nm @ 30 minutes at Level 4
4.) Remove pad after 30 minutes
5.) Keep extender on for another 30 minutes (so a total of 1 hour).

I’m not going to hang for a while, just going to do extender work for the next couple of weeks; take a break last week of the year and then go for 1 month extender only.

I’m doing this 3x to 4x per week.

I do soft clamping 2x’s per week for 8 minutes and will start wrapping in the afternoon.

@Solvay1927 for the holidays I wanted to thank you for your patience and help with dealing with all these questions. All I can say is thank you! and I’m sure many of us here have been blessed by your help. The NIR+RED pad has helped me feel so warmed up and I feel much healthier in general with this. I stopped PE for many years and I’m thankful that when I started again this tech was available to me. God has a purpose and I can’t imagine PE without this.

Quick update, 2 weeks after starting with the NIR

My last measured BPFSL was 7.125" (same as BPEL). Been doing this for 2 weeks now and I can get out to 7.5" with the extender as of this morning. BPFSL was 7.5" afterwards as well (just doubled checked to make sure). BPEL has not caught up to this and I figure it won’t for a while, but this is a nice change for me.

I don’t get as sore as I do hanging (which I actually kind of like as it "feels" like I’m doing something), but the results have been better.

Routine:
10 minutes in extender with no stretch - full blast on the 850nm
10 minutes extended to 7" - full blast on the 850nm
10 minutes extended to 7.5" - minimum power at 850nm ( back off as it starts getting a bit warm at the surface)
Remove NIR pad; move to balls for 20 minutes
30 minutes extended to 7.5"

I fowfer as much as I can during the day; do another non-extended session for 1 to 2 hours in the afternoon with no NIR.

Started 7x5, goal is 8x6, but I’m a grower and I’d be happy just becoming shower if that’s all I can get.

@Vintage and others , I would like to see more about BPFSL. That is something I have noticed as well, not sure if it is NIR+RED and water pumping or what but I feel like my BPFSL is just way easier to stretch now. I feel like I too have gained, I wish I was writing my BPFSL measurements before this, I will start now

Used my new China pad, 660nm(1x)+850nm(x2), with my 2 pumps. No indication for the mw/cm2.

Wrapped it around and it covered everything. Both cylinders "thickwall".
The Cylinders didn’t get hot, but I could clearly feel the penis getting very warm inside and also warm to touch after exiting. Much different feeling than a heating pad or warm water.
Same result with a finger test inside and on the pump material. Indicates for me that it penetrates very well.

Though, I used the pump for only 10 minutes at a time cause I develop edema at glans fast. To avoid that I usually use it with cold water if I want to go beyond 10 minutes. I’m thinking about doing that with the pad around it.

What pad do you have?

What diameter is yor cylinder?
