Vacuum Pumping 101

Hi,

So with about $3 worth of brass fittings from home depot, and some silicone sealant, I was able to repair my broken pump cylinder.

While I was looking for a new one though, I thought it would be good to get another one that was smaller in diameter to work specifically on length instead of girth.

I am thinking about a 1.75” tube until I can fill that.

I am thinking it would be pretty easy to make, since the prices for these things are crazy.

Any advice?

Hello , I´m having problems buying a pump , since most of the ones i see in online shops don’t bring a pressure meter . I was wondering if I could buy one separate? are they universal in meters and inputs?

Well I Got the cylinder thank god I get a good seal, it’s been working great I didnt want to take the chance of not getting the vac not getting a pump going so I went with 9. Yeah alot of people want 8 by 6 by when you get there you realize it’s not that big of a deal and your gonna want more lol, to get what you see in most porn you need 8.5-9 by 6.25-6.5 at least.

High Pressure Pumping

I wanted to add that It does not hurt or bruise or even give me blood spots at a pressure of 15 hg, which is very high, I didnt realize till after I pulled out of the tube I had a nasty donut, I’m not going above 10 anymore but it seems like not enough pressure is exerted on the penis for growth.owell.. Maybe a modest 7 hg? Lol

I have settled into what I think is a pretty steady routine. I alternate sets of jelqing and pumping. I am starting at 2.5 and working up to 5 in three sets, of about 10 minutes with jelqing and uli’s in between. I have looked into making another cylinder, and just need to go get the stuff from Tap Plastics. Two questions.
1) with some experimentation, I think I can continue going for higher pressure and more aggressive manual exercises. So if there is no discoloration or spotting, how high should I go? What is the limit and why? I tried pumping with an inner tube a while back and it seems like I can go much higher.
2) I am looking to add another element to my routine to work on length. Have any pumper’s had experience with hanging/stretching? I was thinking about getting into it and could really use some advice. I was thinking about clamping, but that seems more for girth, and that it’s better to cement your length gains before you get into it.
Any thoughts?

I would recommend getting a 1.75” x 9” tube based on the size you state.

In response to your other questions, there is no great advantage to using higher and higher vacuum pressure. In fact you run a greater risk of discoloration, bruising, water blisters, and/or
weaker erections. Preferably, you want to pump with a full erection but only using vacuum pressures up to 5” hg (make sure your pump calibrations are correct).

If you want to do a combination program of hanging/pumping, I would suggest hanging first then followed by your pumping routine.

Thanks for the advice. I am looking for gains in girth as well as length, but I figured I would work on length first, and then give clamping a try, that’s why I was thinking about hanging first. Is 1.75” what size I will need to “Pack” the tube so I can focus on the vacuum helping with length?

Also I figured Tap Plastics is a good source for the tubes for pumps, vacuum hangers etc. But does anybody have any ideas about sourcing the couplers and stuff. I know you can get that stuff from pumping supply places but they charge an arm and a leg, and it’s just pipe fittings. I have been going to home depot, but their selection is limited.

I hope I am doing this right. This is the 1st image I have uploaded to this site. I finished my first Homemade pump cylinder today. I used a 1/8” thick tube with an internal diameter of 1.75”. I got a foot of it from Tap Plastics for about $4 plus the fittings, washers and some silicone sealant, the cost was under $10. I am happy with it and it seems to work well. Like I said I just finished it today so I haven’t had time to play with it much. Two questions. What is the advantage of cutting it down? Does it alter the way the pressure is regulated some way?

Also, I have been looking at the Suxtender thread. I am wondering what is the advantage of using what amounts to a short pump cylinder, to hold just the head, and then attaching weights to it, or attaching it to some kind of passive tension device. Wouldn’t using a longer piece of inner tube with a regular cylinder work the same?

Hi everybody,

I bought a pump 4 days ago and I try to pump every day except on Monday.because this is my wife’s day off! Because I don’t want to show my wife that I am using a pump (she would not understand my reasons.), I think it will be very difficult to use the pump as frequently as described in the “methods”. How do you do, guys if you are married and you don’t want to inform your wife??

Don’t get hung up on a certain number of days, especially if you are new to pumping. I found that I had to ramp up the number of days very slowly (click the Progress Log link in my signature). Others can go faster. If you can indeed do 4 days/week without losing erection quality (as a beginner), you can simply, after a few weeks, increase session length.

Got my pump today and I´m hoping to try it out tomorrow! I´ll start with 10 min pumping / 10 min jelqing , I was wondering what would be better , two days on / one off or five days on and two off?

Start with 2 on/1 off. If your erection quality remains good, do it more often; otherwise, do it less often.
