Vacuum Pumping 101

Hey Guys,

I ordered a pump off eBay, it’s a dirt cheap deal, ships very fast and the pump works great.

Cheers

Hey Justsomeone and Teninchgoal, can I suggest you take a little time out to read Avocet’s original post in this thread? It’s a classic and it contains answers to your questions.

This is a peace of avocet’s post:

It is common for the penis to remain longer and fatter after a session. You have filled it with blood and lymphatic fluids. Your penis will have a “spongy” feeling. In the beginning of your pumping experience this flaccid increase does not last very long at all, but it’s fun while it’s there. Slowly, over weeks, you will probably find that you are hanging longer and heavier for hours, then all day, then for a couple of days between pump sessions. You are beginning to see permanent gains. Unlike some, I do not believe that pumping gives fully permanent gains. But a minimal maintenance schedule of pumping 3 or 4 times a month will let you keep what you've worked for. That, to me, is permanent enough.

Maybe I missed the answer (again), can you point me in the right direction if this isn’t it?

Thanks!

That is what I said then, and I stand by it. If all you have to do is a PE routine once or less a week to keep your gains, does not having them continuously constitute “permanent” gains? I’ll go further and suggest that some guys - once they “cement” their gains - may not even need to do any maintenance at all. At least that is the report from a number of men here who did PE, made gains, then retired completely from PE.

I gained almost a half inch in girth when I was pumping consistently a year or so ago.

I don’t pump very much anymore :(

I still have the girth I gained. :) :jumpblue:

(Gee I wonder if I outta take up pumping again …)

I have an unanswered question since a time back. For you who had gains with low pressure, did you always maintain the erection to 100% during the sessions? Because I’m not even 90% if I leave it at 4-5Hg, I need to go upp to 7-9Hg to have it fully “standing”.

Start: 6.3 BPEL x 4.5 MSEG & 4.5 BSEG

Now: 7.7 x 4.7 x 5.5 BSEG

Goal: 8 x 6

Into the tube 70 to 80% erection, 2.5 to 3.5HG. Any higher pressure than that was counter productive. (Bad PIs)

I did tube milking and kegels while in the cylinder.

Per a gprent suggestion, I would do 50 kegels, and then 50 milks. Rinse and repeat.

I came out of the tube soft (50%) and always edged at least 10 minutes afterward.

It is ok to get softer while you are pumping. See this thread:

Soft when I exit pump

I use Cialis almost every 3 days and watch porn while pumping to keep the erection. I even kegel every once in a while…

Hi avocet8,

In answer to your question, the fourth paragraph up from the bottom that begins “it is common for the penis to remain longer.” the very final sentence reads:

“Unlike some, I do not believe that pumping gives fully permanent gains. But a minimal maintenance schedule of pumping 3 or 4 times a month will let you keep what you’ve worked for. That, to me, is permanent enough”

So I read that as you did not believe pumping would give permanent gains.

I have read it ;)

Check my post above buddy, the sentence is in there. I’m not knocking pumping, hell I have one, but I just wanted to know if this view had now changed seeing as the original post was submitted back in 2002.

Cheers :)

Ok I see what you mean. Confusion of the word permanent I think. For me, permanent means once it’s there, it doesn’t go away, regardless of what you do. Doing a routine once a week to keep gains isn’t permanent.

Anyway, don’t take this as an attack. I really enjoyed reading your post and it answered a lot of questions. I have already seen a good increase in my girth since I started to pump, however these have not yet cemented which is why I asked the original question as to whether pumping could cause permanent gains.

I for one do not want to be pumping for the next 40-50 years, but rather achieve a size (if gains are permanent) and then enjoy that size.

Thanks again :)

I find pumping so calming and relaxing that I hope I am pumping for the next 40 years!

I think it releases some “feel good” chemicals in the brain. Sort of like a good massage does.

As I say, I have not been pumping recently — need to get back to it.

Thank you avocet

Is pumping 3 times a day better

Glad to see it’s now sorted “buddy”.
