Hanging Equipment: The basics and how to get what you need.

Let me preface this entry with the following:

I am not an experienced hanger. I am simply covering the bases as I understand them and suspect this is a good way to start, not pressing that my method is the one true way.

Alright, so this is actually a SFW display of Hanging Equipment that I myself plan on using.

pictures below:

1. Assorted 1" weights (NOT Olympic size) totalling 18.75lbs (**1.25lbs, 2.5lbs, 5lbs, 10lbs with one of each denomination) I purchased these at a Sears department store but free weights are readily available at Walmart or other retailers in store or online.

2. Bib Standard Hangar (NOT the Hardcore)

3. Leather Chamois , cut for wrapping purposes. Additional leather cloth available for more strips if needed

4. Approximately 3 feet (37" odd) of plastic covered swing chain from Home Depot. It is available online if you google "plastic coated swing chain" if you can’t buy it in store. However, be prepared to cut it shorter as it comes longer than 3 feet.

5. Short weight post from autoextender.com (holds 4 weights stacked) Autoextender Penis Enlargement Device
**Weight in 1.25lb denomination only found on autoextender.com

Recommended (but not pictured below) additions are:

Towel
sweatshirt (one you can cut into strips for more cushion)
baby powder

My method is simple as far as weight denomination. I’m sure it’s a common system used by hangars but my first hanging foray was plagued with an inability to calibrate the weights I was using. So I’m using clearly marked weights and making it so that I can create any combination that increases by 1.25lbs at will. With the denominations as they are I can use simple addition and up to 4 weights on my short post. This ensures that I can create every combination between 1.25lbs and 18.75lbs with gaps of 1.25lbs if I so choose, which will allow me to be *very* precise when calibrating exactly how much I want to hang for the set. It also allows me to not need to have a long post to stack lower denomination weights as I’ve scaled them up without needing a long weight post of 1.25lb or 2.5lb weights to reach my desired weight for the session or set.

I originally wanted (2) of the 10lb denomination so that I could cover every conceivable combination as I am highly unlikely to go past 25lb at any point in time or need to do so, for my hanging experiment time frame of approximately 6 weeks. I am simply unlikely to need to scale up past 18.75lbs in that span of time, scaling up reasonably in my opinion. However, I will obtain an additional 10lb weight soon, for other purposes and it will be available for hanging if need be.

1.25= 1.25lb weight
2.5= 2.5lb weight
3.75= 1.25lb+2.5lb weights
5= 5lb weight
6.25= 5lb+1.25lb weights
7.5=5lb+2.5lb weights
8.75=5lb+2.5lb+1.25lb weights
10=10lb weight
11.25=10lb+1.25lb weights
12.5= 10lb+ 2.5lb weights
13.75=10lb+ 2.5+1.25lb weights
15= 10lb+ 5lb weights
16.25= 10lb +5lb+ 1.25lb weights
17.5= 10lb + 5lb+ 2.5lb weights
18.75= 10lb +5lb+ 2.5lb +1.25 lb weights

The chain pictured below is children’s swing chain, which is cut to length on order at Home Depot (or any Home Improvement/Hardware store selling chain by the foot) and I picked the plastic covered chain to mitigate the need for a towel for cold steel on my shoulders and eliminate the chance of being pinched in the links of the chain.

The Bib Hangar needs no introduction. Bib created this hangar, which is the gold standard by which most compression style hangars are measured. It has been around a long time and you can still order them from Bib himself. This is the standard size. There is a starter size and a hardcore that features no cushion.

The Leather Chamois is a car cleaning cloth used for buffing and waxing. A user recommended this as a wrap over theraband and after ordering it off of Amazon, my trial run suggests that it is much easier to use, doesn’t appear to need baby powder and is in fact comfortable enough for hanging purposes. Time will tell when I start my project tomorrow or Monday but…I find it so far to be a good investment. It is pictured with the hangar and alone, for scale of the entire piece as it was sent to me.

That is all for now. I will be putting my program into action soon. When I hung before, this was pretty much the equipment basics I myself used. Only different weights and wrap.

Official July Measurement

Well I never officially measured in June but these measurements from last month make sense here: Metric System: TG is converting?

Here in July? Please note, the erections for this set of measurements were generated sans porn or other stimulus during a porn detox flatline. Erection Quality refused to go above 80%

BPEL- 23cm or 9.055” (-.25”)
Because of my recent issues with my porn addiction, which I’ve kicked a solid week but have the aftereffects to deal with, I do not want to stimulate to full erection using any sort of aids. However, a 23cm measurement is repeatable and has been repeatable even in June according to my prior research. My length loss is significant without full erection. That said, my signature hasn’t changed to showcase any of my antics since December of last year so this part of the TG drama will go mostly unread. I imagine my length is the same or slightly higher than 9.25” as I’ve trended up since using the metric system.

MSEG- 15.5cm or 6.102” (-0”)
The measurements from last month only show a mild fluctuation. This measurement is likely higher also but it falls within my normal range of girth. I imagine maybe I’m just past the 16cm mark if fully hard. However, several sets of measurements while fully erect placed me at 15.7cm or 6.181” so what gains in girth I’ve had are unknown at this point. The fluctuations have been significant but trended to a 15.4-15.7cm data set and 15.5cm is an acceptable mode for this and I’ll mark it.

My hanging attempt will be marked from these measurements. I will measure again after 14 consecutive days of hanging have elapsed.

Thanks. PE certainly presents a lot of temptation but hanging, since it is done flaccid typically, may make this simpler and easier to avoid for now. I mean it was difficult to put my pants back on after trying to get my erect measurements. The pathology to slip back into the old ways is very strong.

Hanging Experiment-First try

First attempt at hanging in years, pictures here: Hanging Experiment-First Try (uncensored)

Using one strip of leather chamois cloth and a Bib Hangar.

Hung 2.5lbs for 5 minutes SD.
Changed to 3.75lbs for 5 minutes remaining in set

Notes

Length of strip used is 25” and width is between 1 and 1.5” wide in places, as cutting was ragged with a utility razor.

First attempt at hanging with weight attached pulled hangar against glans. Method of attachment features a small amount of penis uncovered at the base for the plastic/silicone to grip onto so as not to shift, like I have personally observed the Bib to do so frequently.

Successful attachment has a clear 1/8-1/4” clearance between hangar and corona ridge of glans on topside. Clearance on side and bottom are much more than this.

Hanger settings took two tries to perfect.

Cool but not cold glans.

First attachment included shooting pain from the top of the shaft near glans, hence a second attempt that lasted without pain.

Two sets planned for tomorrow at 10 minutes with 3.75lbs. First week is adjustment. Planning on upping sets to 2x 10 minutes then times to 20 minutes before moving to 5+lbs.

Full warmth and sensation regained by 10 minutes out of hangar.

Post workout flaccid hang of 19cm or 7.4”

Optimizing EQ for measuring

I sometimes struggle with EQ during measuring too, but now I have found a new method which at least guarantees that I am able to reach use the maximum available EQ potential.

I measure while raising into kneeling! First I sit on my ankles and get (yes, without other means than hand and mind, of course - we fight the same fight as you know) my erection. Then I slowly (10 to 15 seconds at least) rise to my knees while doing a BC Kegel. This gets my erection to it’s “daily optimum”. If I think I can even get harder, I simply repeat the movement including another Kegel. The synchronous tension of my calves and buttock muscles alltogether with the BC comtraction pumps the blood really hard into CC and CS.

If I remember correctly you had some issues with a knee lately, so it has to be precised it does not have to be done on a hard surface - the bed goes as well. It’s just easier to keep the balance on the floor :-)

I’m in therapy for my knee at present and cannot, for the life of me, sit on my ankles. I do not have that range of motion fully in my left knee right now. Further, that position would require more strength than my left leg has, due to the atrophy of being in a brace for 6 weeks. Perhaps in the future I can make it work. But… the method seems sound. I’ll keep it in mind next time I’m trying to go with a high EQ measurement.

Hanging failure 1- Viagra and recent orgasms...nope

I had made a decision to have sex earlier and took some Viagra. Which tends to be active, most of the day even though I only take half of a 100mg dose. When the time came to do my sets, an erection was persistent. After masturbating to my partner and sex earlier…I was too sensitive to hang. It was uncomfortable after trying to affix the hangar twice. Enough so that I couldnt’ get a set in.

Failure.

I’m not sure obtaining a big dick and using it is a failure. *laughing* In all seriousness though, I always appreciate your honesty and learn a lot from your posts. As a misfit newbie, your the one guy here I can relate too. Thanks for doing what you do.

First of all I wish you get well soon. I am actually going through a nasty cervicobrachialgia syndrome (mainly in the right shoulder) which seems to be a beast to treat. And I have to do some 80% myself, physiotherapy does maybe 10% and the rest is painkillers and muscle relaxants. Well… there really are times I regret I do not do enough for my shoulders and arm musculature. As my physician said: you’re more than strong everywhere (violins chiming in my ears…), even your back, but the arms and shoulder are your weak spot (sudden stop of the violins!).

But coming back to the topic: I think the trick is not kneeling but the contraction of gluteus and calve muscles alltogether with the pelvic muscles. Maybe this can be achieved in knee-friendly positions like lying flat on your back too. The important part is to have the legs spread at a wide angle while pushing.

You can only do what it is you desire to do. To an extent, that means you have to make more effort than you are accustomed to. You have to make that decision for yourself if you want to make the gains you *really* want. And when you’re ready to do that, your body will react accordingly and reward that new level of effort.

When you desire to make such effort towards the goal will be the turning point in your PE endeavors.

I say “failure” in the sense of being disciplined in PE. Like I tell anyone here, never let PE get in the way of your sex life. Which, if I could have had sex again I would have….but she was sleeping. So, my priorities are in the right place. But…not many tune into my log to learn about my sexual frequency. They tune in to read about successful routines. *chuckles*

I’m not so sure. I read your contributions for the mindset, the worldview attached to your journey. It strikes me of exceptionalism. I think it unlikely that I am alone in that view.
