Thank You
Thank you for posting this. It is the right thing to do.
I have seen people try to explain their situation on this and other sites and just get completely squashed by others. This type of situation alone can be very devastating. To have others completely deny your story, or tell you that there’s no way this could be true or you must not have followed the rules or whatever, is incredibly painful.
I have gotten nauseous reading some people get attacked for simply trying to warn others that these types of serious injured are in fact possible. I knew that voicing my support at those times would do no good and I would just get mauled as well. I always thought that the attackers were just trying to keep PE as a 100% “when perfectly practiced, permanent-injury free” activity in the eyes of it’s readership, and in a way I guess I could understand why they acted as they did. Somehow, somewhere, someone has realized that there are real people at the other end of these computer screens, and that it is more important to be completely transparent and honest than to try and increase readership at all costs.
I really would like to commend whoever it was that decided to finally post this type of message. It’s really pathetic, but I almost want to cry. You can change your life for the better by following the instructions on this site. But there is another side to that coin as well. I’m just glad that this will be known now. The readers/members will still come, I promise. And frankly, they will be a lot better off/safer because of this simple original post.
So, on a day in which I have been commending our U.S. Veterans for providing us with the civil liberties and freedoms we should all be very thankful for. Someone has chosen to use their freedom in the RIGHT way. They have allowed others the freedom to make informed decisions and practice PE with real, honest knowledge. Thanks again.
