Read This First: Warning To Newbies

Veno-occlusive insufficiency or “venous leak” is indeed poorly understood. The prior post is correct. Most causes of venous leak are thought to result from structural changes in the corpora usually resulting from some sort of repeated trauma. Long-distance bicycling has been felt to be the cause in a few individuals.

During erection, the arterial inflow to the penis vasodilates and the corpora fill with blood. As the spongy tissue expands, the venous outflow of the corpora is compressed against the tunica and blood is trapped within. If this fails to occur, the erection is of poor quality or is short-lived. A color doppler in an individual with venous leak shows persistent high-flow in the cavernosal arteries despite a poor erection. Cavernosography is a different test using intravenous contrast and Xray, that may demonstrate the focus of the leak and typically shows early and persistent outflow of blood in the dorsal vein during erection.

A varicocele is basically a varicose vein of the pampiniform plexus, which is the network of veins draining the testis, not the penis. A varicocele virtually never causes ED although large ones can be symptomatic, and bilateral varicoceles can be a cause of infertility. Large varicoceles can cause testicular atrophy, so I suppose bilateral chronic untreated varicoceles could eventually cause a drop of testosterone production and secondary ED.

I don’t understand the question.

If you mean when you have it, is there no recourse? There are things that help. Depends on the degree of leakage.

If moderate, cock rings often work well. And the various ED drugs do overcome it, though you may have to experiment with dosages.

If more severe, surgical repair is called for. But this works best in younger guys, say up to forty or so. In older guys, they don’t like to do surgery because the level of recidivism is quite high.

Has this fellow actually detailed his entire routine and history? We’re saying that he’s done very little to cause the damage, but I haven’t seen what that very little was. Even if he claims to have been doing the newbie routine, that doesn’t mean he wasn’t over-working his unit.

Recognize.

He did not generate enough friction to warm an oscar meyer wiener. Just a bad break.

This is a very true and necessary warning.

It should permanently be on the front page

At your own risk -

In response to that link a few pages back about the guy that couldn’t get a full erection, I’ve had a kind of reverse of that situation; having a non erect shaft but fully erect head (or glans, I think it’s called).

This has only happened two or three times ever, and usually after a long “solo session”, in which I’ve taken a break and then gone to get hard again. Also I’ve generally been tired or not that “into it” when this has happened, so it may be a psychological thing (my brain doesn’t want an erection, but the friction on the glans caused partial erection). In any case, as soon as it happened I obviously got scared and squeezed the end, resulting in a normal erection straight away after, and all erections in the future afterwards were 100% fine. So it may have been some kind of valve closing problem.

Either way, this has made me avoid PE until recently, and I still haven’t started, but reading this thread I’m worried I may be one of those “at risk”. Any ideas?

I’ve been wondering, since the amount of gains I want is so modest, I can live without the girth, if hanging would be better for me than jelqing.

It seems like jelqing would cause this problem doesn’t it? I do not have fully erect glans(100% deflated often) and this makes me wonder if I have a very mild case of this. I am not jumping to any conclusions, just thinking aloud.

BMashina,

Plenty of guys, myself included, received some girth gains during their hanging career. So if you do go with hanging it doesn’t mean that you are writing off the potential for any increases in girth.

As to which is safer? I do not know.

Running a Massive Co-Front.

I’ll say jelqing is probably safer, although both have serious potential for injuries.

With all due respect, this should’ve been posted years ago. There has been an attitude from some in the hierarachy here that if a person is injured, they simply MUST have done something wrong. That obviously wasn’t the case then, and equally still isn’t. A few examples here are almost shameful, where a person is very troubled by something that has occured and are greeted in an almost accusatory tone, as if that is going to help. Hopefully now if somebody is injured, the only concern will be what they need to do to start to see improvements. If that change takes place, then this announcement is postiive and constructive.

There seems to be a lot of panic going on here.

Most of the Mods here are non medically trained, right? If thousands of guys PE safely, with injuries almost always occurring after doing stupid shit, after CONSTANT AND VERY CONSCIENTIOUS SUPERVISION by Mods here, what do you think the average guy is going to think?

They are going to think, “bullshit”. Don’t you think that is a reasonable response to a questionable report, from non medically trained personnel?

Give us a friggin break here stateless. How much time do YOU donate to keeping people safe and instructing them in ANYTHING?

This site is totally free, and the Mods work very hard to make sure you guys get good information and we ENDLESSLY warn people against questionable practices.

So, ok it took a while to come up with this warning, but we did. What other pay PE site has come anywhere close to what we do here for free?

Yes, we’re not perfect, but we put in a lot of time, effort and money to run this site for the good of others WITHOUT any profit, keep that in mind also.

So, I hear what you are saying, but I say to you…keep a little perspective along with your critique.
