How do you know that 80-90% of your friends are bigger than you? Did you actuall measure or compare?

The drop from 4.5” to 4.75” then back up to a considerable 5” says to me that the data is skewed slightly.

I think it’s due to the temptation to “round up” to the next milestone and it seems pretty obvious to me that the true “spike” should be between 4.25” and 4.75”

Yes, and in addition, if you look carefully at the layout of the graph, it suggests the peak is less than 5” MSEG, which negates the commonly held notion around here that the average MSEG is 5”. Very few people that actually post on TP are less than 5” MSEG, but in reality, most men are 5” or less MSEG.

It`s funny, I didn`t feel above average length till I got here to TP, but on the other hand, I didn`t feel like I was lacking girth until I got here either.

The universe doesn`t want me to feel too good about myself all at once. Who knows what might happen then.

Yep this all makes sense. It seems that girth is not distributed in a perfectly normal distribution, but rather has many more men falling between 4.25-5 inches - far more than the number falling between 5-5.75 inches. However, there are probably equal or fewer men below 4.25 than there are above 5.75. Thus, those bigger guys bring up the average even though the median and mode are lower.

Moral of the story, having between 4.5-5.0 inches of girth does not make you small, it makes you average, because the median and mode of the distribution are far more important than the mean when it comes to a man’s pride and ego and what his partner usually encounters in a dick.

All the more reason that the normal-girthed guys need to speak up more around here, because we’re tired of hearing about how easy it is for a guy with a 5.5 MSEG to increase to a 6.0 MSEG.

I’m right there with you man. Like I say, guys with less than 5” starting girth never speak up because they (we) think that’s small around here. It’s way more common than you’d think reading the threads and progress reports here.

I think more rarer are the guys below 4 inches of girth, I think Ive only come across one or two on TP.

I’ve always thought of myself as about average and posts/information like this just confirms it. I have no problem with that. Actually, statistically I guess I am slightly above average, and with a great EQ and erection angle at my age, I am satisfied with where I am. I can get it up anytime I want and can fuck for as long as I want, so my 6+ inches are ok (of course some of you 7+ inchers look pretty awesome).

Posts like this should make us average guys know that we are perfectly fine that way, but there is nothing wrong with trying to improve.

True. They are probably pretty rare - but not much more rare than ones above 6 inches girth. The reason you come across many more with 6+ girth is that they proudly display it in their signatures and announce it.

And also, a lot of that isn’t natural girth any more, so we can’t take a lot of TP members as representative.

I always thought I was exactly the average of penis-sizes or a tiny bit above. This thread however, reveals that I’m maybe even a bit small in the girth section with my 4,5 MSEG, aah the horror! =) Although if the tests are for base girth I’m not that small with 4,9.

I think a major reason for a lot of penis size worries is that our dicks are completely covered and a complete mystery to your partner until the moment of truth. Whether you are great looking or so so looking you can be confident that if you are dating someone they must find you attractive, be ok with how you dress and your income level. Its all out there on display and they knowing all of that decided to be with you. For guys that have not had much experience with sex it is so easy to worry that maybe they thought I had a bigger dick or that they secretly wish it was bigger once they’ve seen it. I absolutely think this is due to a combination of porn and lack of real life sex experiences. I lost my virginity to an African American stripper. We became friendly at a strip club and I practically begged her to have sex with me so I could lose my virginity. I apologised profusely beforehand for my small dick which was probably 6.25 x 4.6 or so at the time. I assumed she must bang guys like Lexington Steele all the time. I know that’s retarded but what can I say I was young and only had experience with porn. When we finally had sex she was like “wait a second you have a good sized dick and have nothing to worry about.”. That raised my EQ multiple notches after that and I was a stud in my own mind.

This came crashing down when my ex wife started making fun of my size during a divorce which gave me Psychological ED which led me to Thunders where I initially felt less big than I used to think.

My point is that at 6.25 x 4.6 I never received anything but positive comments. Anyone with a 6.5 inch dick that shows it to a lot of women is going to have an abundance of nice size comments. If you don’t then you are only going to draw your opinion of average size from porn or from the 1 girl that claims to have seen a monster.

Now I’m 7.25 and my fiancee actually thinks its too long for comfort at times and I have to watch my strokes or she is sore for a few days.
