Penis Size - A realistic view

Well guys I hope your right! It’s not that I have brought it up with girls but in the work place it comes up all the time. In relationships, it usually came up when in groups of other women. There all chatting and snickering and talking about this kind of stuff and I just happened to be in the middle of it. My wife of ten years is the only one I have really ever started the conversation with.

I know of an online penis-pulling cult where men congregate and sometimes rate as a “5” and proceed to dissect the tiny physical imperfections of women who, in real life, would not give these men the time of day or even look their way. ;) Don’t take too seriously the group banter of women (or men). Hell, get a bunch of heterosexual dudes talking about dick size, and you also end up with the impression that everyone’s sporting an 8-incher… Bragging is bragging, whether it’s about oneself or one’s partner(s).

Tons of them. Even at sex parties, where you’d think bigger guys would be more likely to show up, I saw about as many 4x4 guys as 7x6 guys. And most of these guys were very physically fit with low bodyfat. Take into account the huge fat pads that many men sport, and I’d say that a (visible, NBP) 3.5” penis is much more common than a (visible, NBP) 7” penis

I would like to add that dicks observed at the gym shower could partly represent a skewed example as well - lots of fit, low body fat people with minimal fat pad there.

Additionally I believe the larger your flaccid, the more likely you are to show off at the gym showers. Of course there are exceptions to this.

OK, I’ll be the first to admit that when I go to the gym, I discretely give myself a little fluff before taking off the shorts. I skew the sample with my 6-inch “flaccid!”

Ok I’ve never posted here I don’t think, but I’ve been meaning to get started for a long time now.

When you look at things like the condom studies, they are citing 5.5-6.0” as the average.. Does anybody know if this is BPEL or NBP?

I know you guys all specify in your sigs and everything whether you’re measuring BPEL or NBP, but I’m curious how they attained the numbers in the studies.

I have done no PE and am currently at 6.625 BPEL and 5.125 MEG.

If these numbers from the condom studies are BPEL I’m a bit large to begin with. If they’re NBP then I’m just a bit toward the upper end of average with 6.125ish NBP. Big difference.

From the descriptions I have read of the LifeStyle condom study, it sounds like a light bone press measurement:

Measurement methodology

The following criteria were enforced by a doctor and a team of four nurses, who attended each of the seven nights of the penis size research. Measuring of length was from the point at the base of the erect penis where the top of the penile shaft meets the pubic area to the tip of the glans ("head"). For uncircumcised men, the foreskin was retracted. Measuring of girth was at mid-shaft around the circumference of the penis when the penis was erect. Failure to gain an effective erection for measurement disqualified the volunteer from being included in the data for the calculation of average erect penis length and girth.

lol, i’m comfortable enough with her and confident enough to get into a size discussion… i’m not too concerned with being embarrassed about size.

and since the bone pressed vs non bone pressed issue came up with the size surveys:

in my opinion, it’s ok to base your gains off bone pressed measurements, but i see lots of people here use bone pressed as their “size”. i think that’s silly. for measuring gains, yes it provides an exact base for every measurement. but when someone says they have a 7 inch dick, including the 1.5in fat pad, you’re just lying to yourself. i know i’m probably going to piss a few people off by saying that, but it’s just my opinion. think of it like this: a stocky guy with an 1.5 inch fat pad (most fit guys have about an inch fyi) saying he has a 7 inch dick, when in fact only 5.5 is visible… or usable unless you’re pushing into his pubic area with 15 lbs of force… is just plain silly.

i think that is where a lot of size over-estimation comes from… some guy walking around claiming 7.5”s because he measures bone pressed, when anyone who sees him is going to look at a 6” dick and think wow 7 isn’t that big at all… and this happens a ton here

You’re not going to piss anybody off, but keep in mind that fat compresses. So more than your NBPEL is usable during sex.

I don’t think most non-thunders guys measure top down like we do. That’s how you get the 9 inch and the 10 inch dicks out there on the internet. They measure from side, from bottom balls up, etc etc.

I haven’t see a lot of guys around here that do that though.

Let’s see. I wasn’t thinking literally, but you made me curious how close I got to the truth.

The US has 2.9 million millionaires and 413 billionaires. (So says Wikipedia.)

We have 147,000 guys running around with 8.3 inches or more, 3250 with 9.2+, and 30 with 10+. (According to the thread linked below.)

So an 8 inch dick isn’t nearly as rare as a billionaire. Neither is 8, but 10 inches is much less common than banking a billion.

On the other hand, an 8 inch dick is far less common than having a million dollars. At a guess, maybe 8 is equivalent to 100 million, 9 is 500 million, and 10 is a multibillionaire.
