Wonder if maybe stuzilla, para-goomba and I ought to update those by adding a discussion of a couple of the scientific studies. Specifically the Ansel/Lifestyles study.

That would be a great item for the wiki, if it ever returns. Last I saw of it, it had gone to the rabbits though, so I have no idea if/when it will be fixed.

Sta-kool, great idea to update those pages. Unfortunately, I’m not sure any of the scientific studies provided histograms showing the distribution of results — rather, just means and standard deviations. I know that the MrAvg/Wiki pages showed histograms supposedly from the Lifestyles survey, but as I’ve opined before, these appear to be inaccurate and seem to include some Kinsey data (e.g., the bizarre peak in girths below 2.5” or whatever it was — obviously mostly men who self-measured incorrectly).

I think the best bet would be to replace (or at least supplement) the Kinsey/Size Survey data with the survey data from Thunder’s Place itself. I think when we’ve examined the pre-PE length/girth surveys hosted at Thunder’s Place, they correspond pretty closely to the scientific surveys, if we grant that TP members are BPing hard on their length measurements and are also finding “optimal” ways to measure girth. The size pages could also provide a link to the “True Average” thread, noting that a variety of scientific surveys put the average length at between 5 and 6 inches.

As to the lifestyle stuff, I’ve got some correspondence with mraverage somewhere on my computer regarding the circumference data and some ideas he has about it. He says he took the data from a magazine article at the time ansel was first publicizing the results of the study, though he does not remember the source. Anyway he has some theories about it. Like invisible, he’s trained as a statitician. I’ll PM you when I dig that out.

I don’t understand something here guys.

I know they say average is between 5.5 and 6.5 or so. Here is the thing that gets me. If some men carry over 10” or some even as much as 12” and widths of over 6”, how the hell is 6” in length average? The smaller penises aren’t 0!

Granted very few are over 10 mark but far less are under 4” so how is 6” average? I hate to say this guys but I feel 7-8 is average and anything under that is on the small side. It just sounds mathematically correct.

I have been called small by many women guys and I’m supposedly average with about a 6.25” and about 4.75-5” in girth. More than length, my width is criticized. Now they didn’t outright say oh it’s small, sex was good they were happy but when something came up about size they always said things like well size isn’t everything or well mine isn’t very big but it does the job etc.

I’m no player and I’ve only been with probably 20-25 women and I’ve been married now for 10 yrs so my experience with women stopped when I got married. My wife is a good woman and didn’t have much experience either far less than me and she never criticizes me and says I’m fine etc, but if I point blank ask her she shays away from the question.

With all the things I’ve read , the Trojan condom test and the many female reviews it just doesn’t make sense. Size surveys say 6” etc , but candid female surveys come to 7-8” is preferred and 6” in girth is preferred. If this is preferred than isn’t it more than likely the most common size?

I work in a jail setting and in my line of work people are very blunt and this includes the women. We speak openly about things like this and I have yet to hear a woman say that 7-8 is too much or not preferred or even not common. Depending on how many men a woman has had made the difference in how big she thought the average was. In my line of work promiscuity is very high, so most of the women had been with quite a few guys and once again their average seemed to be around 7-8. However, when talking to men they all say 6 etc.

Again, working in a jail, I unfortunately see quite a bit of nudity and most guys are bigger than me at least in the flaccid state. Hell some are bigger flaccid than I am erect! Why am I writing this? I don’t know I guess I’m just frustrated with this whole thing and have been for some time.Well that’s my ramble any thoughts?

women have a tendency to grossly misinterpret size. a female coworker the other day had made a comment about some object at work being 7 inches long, when it was actually no more than 5. i made a joke about how she probably thinks the average penis is 8” (we’re very good friends, lol)… she said no, around 7 and showed about how big it was with her hands… her hands were definitely not 7 inches apart, maybe 6 at the max.

never believe any numbers a chick throws at you. but to what you were saying about saying they’ve been with bigger guys, i think it has more to do with girth. a thicker dick is always going to feel much bigger than a skinny one of equal length… in reality, it IS much bigger in terms of volume.

Those sound like Porno Marketing Numbers.

For example Johnny Sins is marketed as having a 10” dick.

But we have pictures showing that he is more like in the upper 7” or maybe right below 8”

But a lot of these 10” and 12”s on the internet are not legit 10” and 12”

And as FL_Titan pointed out, women are very very bad as estimating size.

P.S. Why are you talking to women about size? Do not do that. Act confident, don’t bring this up.

There are lots of 4x4 guys out there. They just don’t post much on Thunders, and they definitely don’t talk about it in person. 5.75x4.75 is the real average and median size based on many surveys, especially the well-done ones. Men lie and women exaggerate.

My fiance the other night said I was about the girth of a 7-7.5” cucumber. That’s about a 1.5-2” discrepancy in girth.
