I think something similar was posted at MOS for length gains. They would really pull the shit out of it, and then reverse kegel.

So, as in any stretching, you can get length gains, but I’m not emphasizing that aspect here. Here I am just using resistence in line with the greatest movement when you kegel, and doing it to build a lot of BC strength.

Of course theres no reason not to try and do both at the same time, but I do these for BC strength and improved EQ.

I get almost no full erections. No nightly or morning wood and none throughout the day, and when stimulated I only get to about 60-70% erect. The only time I ever experienced frequent and unsolicited hard-ons was about 6 months back, when I use to jelq for almost 2 hours everyday. They would get hard, and come frequently throughout the day. Now I am doing no jelqs and only stretches, which have resulted in no erections, and another little bonus of complete desensitization in the head of my penis.

Does this go against the idea of “less is better”?

And could someone please throw me any quick info on stretches vs feeling/EQ.

The “less is more” vs “more is more” shouldn’t be a philosophical argument… it should be based on your responses! It seems self evident that if with a lot of jelquing your EQ was high, and when you do a small amount your EQ is low…that you need to do more. You guys need to turn your brains on!

I would love to be able to do an hour or more of jelquing and pumping, but if I go more than 5 minutes, my EQ goes to shit. Go back to at least 20 minutes of jelquing and see how that effects your EQ. If it improves it, you can begin to add on to the time and re-assess your EQ with each change. When you find the amount that gives you both great EQ and gains…hold at that point until the gains begin to slow. At that point you can either slightly increase the time or try a week or two decon.

Hello, I would just like to say this is my first real post on thundersplace. I have been PEing for approximately 4 months and in this time I have gained around 0.8 inches in BPEL and 0.25 in EG. My reason for posting in this particular thread is that after 4 months my penis is totally spent, and EQ has significantly decreased over the last month. My EQ was highest around December time when I began transitioning from a newbie routine to a more advanced one, but has significantly decreased to the point I am losing motivation to PE or even masturbate. (Prior to this I was always having to hold myself back). I feel the reason for this is maybe due to the fact I am working out for around 2 hours five days a week, which I feel is not only physically taxing but also so unreasonable for time issues. I am concerned because I consider EQ just if not more important than gaining more size. I am becoming scared a chance will present itself with a lady and I will only be able to sport a spongy weak erection!
So what I would like to know is: Am I overtraining? Is 2 hours too long? Can I still make new gains whilst keeping EQ at it’s full potential?

Being at this crossroads I’ve decided to take a week off from training to see if my EQ improves, and only when it does will I continue once more. I really love PE and I am very happy with the gains I have made so far, but I would obviously like more. I am currently 6.7 x 5.15 but would like to reach 7.25 x 5.5 preferably by the summer (optimistic I know). I am a very dedicated PEer and is prepared to do what it takes.

Finally I would like to say thank you to everyone out there, your advice is well appreciated and without you this dream would not be possible. Please take a moment of your time and help this struggling PEer.

I’ve been away from Thunders for some time, and I missed out on this thread as it was developing, so I hope you’ll forgive me as I put forward this rather long list of questions/responses to some of the great ideas I’ve seen here.

Many of these ideas have been brought up again in the more active sister thread, Is LESS more, or is MORE more?, but since many of those ideas originated in this thread, and some have not been mentioned since, I felt it more appropriate to post here.

I might also suggest counting out jelqs rather than minutes (especially when one is first starting), and being very conservative about adding more; perhaps 5 more each week. I find kegels are great in the few hours post-PE to keep my flaccid fluffed, and especially if I’ve overtrained slightly or get an irritated urethra.

Another possible alternative is to PE before you go to bed, then let the frequent nocturnal erections keep you “extended”.

I agree on this one. I think frequent PE training is the ideal target by helping to keep the motivation going.

Sparky: how were the long-term results of your ice-pack experiments? Did they help with gains or just overall penile health? This reminds me a little of Big Girthas experiments using cold water to “freeze” his collagen in place; different goal, but perhaps a convergent effect?

Edging/ballooning may indeed be a valid means of PE, but if it takes hours per session, perhaps it’s not the best fit for many of us out there, which may be one reason why as a method it was not widely known or used.

Yes, this is a MUST read article. You mentioned in this post that you were doing a variant of the Big Gainer routine. How has that worked out so far? I’m currently doing a variant of it as well. One of the advantages of this approach is that it reinforces PE as a habit (like brushing ones teeth), and if a day or two is missed, the extra rest is especially beneficial (like a 5on/1off routine).

Monty is one of the pioneers of this method, no? Reading some of his old posts is very instructional. Westsidetoni had good gains by wearing one for 8+ hours, and that seems like a logical approach.

Below are some really interesting ideas you put forward Sparky, that really struck a chord with me:

Yeah, I thought that video seemed a little extreme as well; I hope it wasn’t a factor in any injuries…

I like this diagnostic approach; shall we call it “Sparkys EQ Algorithm”? :D

As I understand it, this post explains why edging is counterproductive to PE, but does it also apply to “ballooning” as a method of PE.?
C.f. “long edging sessions…gives you the same stress as a PE session, but without any gain potential.

You have mentioned that you were doing kegels under resistance and have dramatically improved your EQ. This reminds me of the old World Wise wet towel kegel exercises as described in Jojido: Secrets of the Ancients Revealed! (1995) Pretty neat stuff! :)

CLASSIC Newbie mistake to think the Newbie workout should be left behind for a more “advanced” workout. There is NOTHING more advanced than growth!!!
