Round 23: High heat with low pressure gradient

This routine mirrors Round 22 but the long 30 second cycles do not exceed 17.5HG

Routine Notes

1. Edge for around 45 minutes, massaging occurs concurrently during edging. IR lamp used[ Coconut oil used.

2. While erect, perform some massaging for myofascial unlocking purposes with Tunica Tenderizer. This was around 11-15 minutes, every 30 seconds to a minute I would press and massage the left side of my erect penis against the white and spiny side of the tenderizer for 15 seconds. I did this probably 15 times for 15-20 seconds at a time, with 5 contact surfaces.

3. Lube penis and entry of tube, as long as my forefinger in depth, with vaseline. Enter tube flaccid. Used heating pad contact for entire session, removing to check tube pack status a few seconds every couple minutes.

4. For first 90 seconds, cycling between just at 5HG (0 holes covered) and 8HG (2 holes covered). Up cycles were around 2-3 seconds, down was around 1-2 seconds.

5. For 120 seconds (2 minutes) cycling between just at 5HG (0 holes covered) and 17HG (3 holes covered) Up times were 3 seconds. Down times were just under 1 second.

6. For 30 seconds cycling between full vacuum and 15HG and 5HG using 1 second for full (25HG), 1-1.5 seconds for 17HG and just under 1 second for 5HG.
So cycle is 4 holes for 1 second, 3 holes for 1-1.5 seconds and 0 holes for just under 1 second. (20 seconds of downtime deciding what pressure to use next)

7. For 120 seconds (2 minutes) cycling between 8HG (2 and a partial 3rd hole covered) and up to 17.5HG (total coverage of 3 holes) The cycle is 30 seconds and starts with 8HG and creeps up, getting to 13-14HG by 10 seconds in, moving up to 17.5HG for the last few seconds. Using feel for the decision.

8. In the 6th minute, after performing another cycle, 60 seconds out of tube, massaging with a milking motion gently and reapplying vaseline. This lasts till the 7th minute.

9. For 180 seconds (3 minutes) cycling between 8HG (2 and a partial 3rd hole covered) and up to 17.5HG (total coverage of 3 holes) The cycle is 30 seconds and starts with 8HG and creeps up, getting to 13-14HG by 10 seconds in, moving up to 17.5HG for the last few seconds.

10. In the 10th minute, did a rest and massage up to minute 11 much like in step 8.

11. For 240 seconds (4 minutes) cycling between 8HG (2 and a partial 3rd hole covered) and up to 17.5HG (total coverage of 3 holes) The cycle is 30 seconds and starts with 8HG and creeps up, getting to 13-14HG by 10 seconds in, moving up to 17.5HG for the last few seconds.

12. At minute 15 removed heating pad from tube. Performed some checking and top measurement with a 20 second gradual up cycle to 20HG 1 once with a 40 second down time and a gradual 20 seconds up to 25HG once and concluding.

Total time 16 minutes and 30 seconds

Other notes

1. 4 minute definitive pack time. Hard, super packing occurs around minute 13 or so. This is regardless of not using greater than 17.5HG in the long cycle times.

2. Tube was too hot to get into, session started delayed by around 1 minute to reduce itemperature of cylinder before entry and session start.

3. Euphoric feeling, great post hang. Pattern here has held true, yet again. This time I missed flaccid lengths and girth was 6” MS flaccid, with 6.41” Erect MS girth very little edema. BPEL is 9.25” at 80% erection. Unable to get harder post session, want to mark 9.3” again. Lower cycle pressure and time out of tube is stablizing edema patterns

4. Still didn’t get out of the tube at the 13th minute, as it packed right on time without full vacuum spiking and I didn’t want to disturb it. Tomorrow.

5. Almost orgasmed between sessions in the tube on the second time out to massage. Held off.

6. The limit of the cycling to 25HG was not intended but worked out. Noted for next time.

Round 24: High Heat, Massage, Time Change, Edema elimination

This routine mirrors Round 23 but I add the time out of the tube at minute 14 to 15 and I solidify nearly phasing out full vacuum pressure in my routine at all.

Routine Notes

1. Edge for around 70 minutes, massaging occurs concurrently during edging. IR lamp used[ Coconut oil used.

2. I let the tube cool a touch when I enter the room. I take that time to oil it and my penis with it out of the pad for about 90 seconds.

3. Euphoric feeling, great post hang. Pattern here has held true, yet again. Girth was 6.25” MS flaccid, with 6.41” Erect MS girth almost no edema, circumcision girth is also 6.25” when erect. Base girth, measured uncommonly today, is 7.51” post workout. NBPF Length is 6.375 and BPF Length is 7.5” with BPEL at 9.1” at 80% erection. Unable to get harder post session. Edema seems stabilized

4. Got out of tube from minute 14 to 15. Packed the exact same way on time as if I had not and reduced edema to nearly zero.

5. Limiting my time at full vacuum is giving me better PIs all around. I only use it for 30 seconds early in the routine.

6. Flaccid lengths are at record highs as well as flaccid girth. I believe the erect MSEG is going to stabilize at 6.41” as this is how I inflate to my maximum in a tube this size.

7. I may push another 3 minutes in the tube some time this coming week. Topping my session at 22 minutes.

This routine mirrors Round 24 but I cut the time between sessions by a few hours. This session takes place a scant 14 hours after round 24. Additionally, size erect without edema has started this session at 6.25” MSEG. Also, cut warmup time by 1 minute in step 5.

5. I may push another 3 minutes in the tube some time this coming week. Topping my session at 22 minutes. Or add an additional session.

6. The post session feelings are making me do this more often. I am growing to like this system much more than expected. Especially now that my blister risk is down, since I don’t need max pressure to work.

I think getting up around 17 to 18 minutes duration and less vacuum has got you close to ideal training now.

Don’t be in too much rush to jump up to 22 minutes training. From 17 to 22 is approx 30% increase in duration! Also, those 5 minutes are at the end of the session when your tissues have been softened and weakened the most. Due to that, it can be like adding much more than 30% additional workload, if that makes sense. It could be like increasing the workload by 50%.

Now you are doing training more often my suggestion would be to take it very slow when increasing minutes. Maybe add 1 minute every couple of weeks, no faster than that. And from this point onward to be actively trying to reduce the vacuum where possible, making small changes over time, especially at the higher vacuums. You’re getting the great effects on your flesh, now it’s a process of reducing the applied force (where possible) but still getting those effects.

I’m thinking if I can remove full vacuum from my warm up cycles I would have something else good. At your suggestion I’ll hold steady on time. I ought to. The PI of steady 6.25” MSEG should be enough motivation.

But, if I did add time it would come with another 1 minute break. And it would be from 17 to 21 minutes. This past workout I reduced warm up time by another 60 seconds. But the system of 3 minute breaks to massage has my PIs strong and predictable as well as low to no edema. I love it. So if I added even 1 minute, I would have to add another out of tube for that, as I am running 3 minutes on, 1 minute off as a macrocycle in the routine.

Your assertion about flesh fatigue and multiplicative effects of force over time is a calculation I did not run. Underestimation of force is easy here. Obviously, even with less warm up time and full vacuum time my tube performance has held true so…the force has proven to have a cumulative effect already. But I hadn’t applied it much further than the reduction in full vacuum and 17HG straight pulsing at the beginning. I appreciate the heads up.

Ahh, I understand better now, you are doing 4 minute macrocycles (good term!) with 3 mins on 1 min massage break.

I think the important thing is if you are increasing workload to not increase it by too much % in any one jump. Like you wouldn’t get comfy with 300 lb bench press then think “next week I’ll do 400 lbs”. That’s ok for people doing light pumping at 3 inHg and then want to try 4 inHg, but once you’re using high force levels that push the flesh right up to its safe limits then it’s very important to make only small changes, and allow time to evaluate the results. (Sorry if that’s sounding like a lecture, it’s not for you so much but it might be of benefit to someone browsing through this thread who needs to be reminded about safety with high force pumping. I think it’s important to keep emphasising small changes and lots of checking.)

One thing you could try would be to add another macrocycle, but try it at low vac like just 7 Hg or so. So that increases the workload by only a small amount like a few %. Then if it goes ok for a few workouts bump the vac up a litle bit. So you are basically “phasing in” the extra macrocycle in a safe gentle way, over a few weeks.

Your calculation of work and my current positive PIs indicate that I have no pressing need to add to my routine. I get to my max expanded erect size post session nearly every time. I doubt that more would be accomplished at this exact point with more work.

PE encourages a scale up at all times. So pumping the brakes when something is working is difficult. Think I’ll hold tight and run with my current routine till I feel confident and cemented in 16cm (6.299”) MSEG as a regular measurement. At this point I have no reason to feel I’m getting inadequate levels of work done.

This routine mirrors Round 25 but I added more edging time. Also, my 30 second cycles are the same but in this session they were off by a few seconds. Just couldn’t get in the swing of the routine today. First routine after 5 day gap.

2. Euphoria not present. Post hang not epic. Flaccid lengths are typical 5.75”NBP and 6.75BP and flaccid girth is only up a bit, to 5.78” MSEG. Erect Girth is not my normal 6.41”, but 6.37”. BPEL is 9.25” and not at 100%. Orgasm at the end due to sensitivity.

3. House is slightly chilly and the time between warmup and actual pumping time was about 10 minutes different. Heat was lost during this time due to badly timed phone conversations. I believe this impacted my post workout size and euphoria loss.

Round 28: Pressure scale-down, new findings

This routine mirrors Round 27. However, in the 9th minute I institute a new limit in my cycling pressures, lowering it from 17.5HG to around 13.5-14HG. Added 4 more minutes, (an additional macrocycle) to total 22 minutes. New findings result. Also, all 2 hole pressures are at 10HG instead of 8HG due to grime.

Routine Notes

1. Edge for around 110 minutes, massaging occurs concurrently during edging. IR lamp used[ Coconut oil used.

2. While erect, perform some massaging for myofascial unlocking purposes with Tunica Tenderizer. This was around 11-15 minutes, every 30 seconds to a minute I would press and massage the left side of my erect penis against the white and spiny side of the tenderizer for 15 seconds. I did this 10 times for 20 seconds at a time, with 5 contact surfaces.

3. Lube penis and entry of tube, as long as my forefinger in depth, with vaseline. Enter tube flaccid. Used heating pad contact for entire session, removing to check tube pack status a few seconds every couple minutes.

4. For first 90 seconds, cycling between just at 5HG (0 holes covered) and 10HG (2 holes covered). Up cycles were around 2-3 seconds, down was around 1-2 seconds.

5. For 60 seconds (1 minute) cycling between just at 5HG (0 holes covered) and 17.5HG (3 holes covered) Up times were 3 seconds. Down times were about 2 seconds.

2. Return of Euphoria, epic flaccid hang. Flaccid lengths are NOT typical. 6.25”NBP and 7.5”BP
Flaccid girth 5.86” MSEG. Erect Girth is not my normal 6.41”, but 6.33”. BPEL is 9.25” and not at 100%. Orgasm at the end due to sensitivity.

3. During this measurement set, ZERO edema has been noted. Additionally, the feel and hang felt heavier than it ever has. I feel this cycling at lower pressures may yield good returns. Additionally, moving up time may be a reasonable goal. I’ve set it at 22 minutes for now but 30 minutes I feel is both the optimum and maximum that I can accommodate. I like this pressure set and I believe this has me on the road to cementing 6.3” MSEG

4. Smoke generation of pump has reached a critical point. I have been removing the smoke detector pre-emptively. Oil change is performed after this entry (FOR REAL THIS TIME)

**5. Oil specimen comparison. Bowl is oil released from pump. Bottle is oil to be put into pump. More fresh oil is in a gallon jug in my room, the small bottle is for ease of handling. Sight glass window does not do justice to how bad oil in pump actually is! Be warned! Reference Oil Gauge Monitoring/Oil Change Procedure to change oil properly. Change oil every 15 sessions.

5b. Honestly, I knew I needed to change the oil probably around Round 20 or so. I think changing the oil every 15 rounds is probably a reasonable standard. Especially since the duration of pump run time is higher than I started and the next 15 rounds will doubtlessly total more time than my first 28. If you start seeing white smoke more and more hanging in the room when you run the pump…you probably should change the oil.

Flaccid girth 5.66” MSEG. Erect Girth topped 6.49” before going down to 6.37” BPEL is 9.25” and not at 100%. I attribute hang issues to heat in house.

3. Still no perceivable edema at cycle end. However, some minor edema must be present. My girth fluctuates downward to a predicable 6.33” after about 20 minutes.

4. Pump generates smoke regardless of oil status, but is not thick enough to set off smoke alarm.

5. A very sage thing in cycling is when getting back into the tube, going easy on the first cycle. Inflaction of the base of the Corpus Cavernosums is a very odd feeling and likely should not be rushed. Even if it costs you some productive time in the upcycle taking it easy when starting in the tube after a massage break.

Hi TG, good to see it’s going well and up to 22 minutes now. :)

After you had the 4 day break it’s normal to take a few days of daily pumping to get conditioned again, get the tissues softened up back to optimal again. Plus the cold can be an issue, like you mentioned.

Re your smoking pump, I think it is overheating. That would cause the oil to reach its smoke point temperature. Are you sure it is the right oil? Maybe you could try a high temperature rated oil?
A quick fix would be to get one of those little $10 desk fans and point it right at the pump (I assume on the floor) and that will move a lot of heat from it and probably stop the smoking right away, and greatly increase pump life too.

The desk fan was a gold idea. I had one on my desk, dusty and literally doing nothing. That and a movement of the entire setup to another corner of the room with better air movement, space and organization should be fine enough. Especially since it’ll be away from the smoke detector.

Oil seems identical to what shipped with the pump. Basic mineral oil.

I’m not as concerned. Other PIs and how it feels during work out have led me to believe this pressure setup is optimum and has me on the road of least edema. I do think cold has a factor in the sub optimal post workout measurements but…it feels effective and efficient. I feel like I’m on track.

The goal is 30 minutes. I’ll add another 4 in maybe 10 or 12 rounds. And try to get to 30 minutes before the 60th round. Depending on PIs and other things.

My next question is once I get to 30 minutes and play at that duration a while, is there value in bringing the vacuum back up? Say in the last few macrocycles I gradually creep to 17-20Hg? This is a ways out but I’m looking at length by this time. It’ll be at least round 60 before I implement this idea.

The first 30 session recap of TG's PE4F Experiment

Alright, this is where you get some kind of sage words after my 30 rounds with silliness (counting round 2 take one: Glans Burn) and expect to get some kind of idea of what the heck is going on in this thread. First, your standards are set too high. But…

First and foremost, very little about how other PE systems works applies here. You can only trust feel so much with high pressure pumping. Some of it you simply have to trust the tissue is being affected and not push too hard. The one injury I got where I bled inside of the tube was not something I even felt. So it is easy to hurt yourself playing with forces of this strength. It is part of why I went with such a small industrial pump, that only pulls 1.5 Cubic Feet Per Minute. I do not think the strength of the pump is terribly important but I do believe that more power does not offer you a real advantage. A 3 or 4CFM system will simply get you to full vacuum faster and be harder to calibrate with the multi-hole system I use.

Secondly, preparation for a good session is more important than daily session time. I got zero good PIs before really getting into a good edging session with a direct heat source for my manual manipulations (massaging and edging) and having a throughly warm penis. This aspect can ruin an otherwise good session. Several of the sessions in the 30 sessions that I’ve played with simply were lackluster because I did not use the IR lamp prior or I forewent the heating pad or both. Heat is integral here, more than ever, even though the forces are far stronger than any other pumping style recommends.

Thirdly, relax. The gauge is right. I calibrated it first using a known handpump using my calibration protocol: TG’s Inline Gauge Calibration Protocol and you need to know, that whether you get used to the pressure or not, the pressures are consistent if you run them that way. Please treat them with equal respect, regardless of how confident you are of “being able to handle more pressure.” I got my injury running too long and often at 25HG. You don’t need to test it to find out it can happen to you.

Fourth, I have gained a bit. I started this at 9.1x6.1” and I’m relatively confident at around 9.2x6.2” (I can measure 9.25x6.25” or larger at times) and feel that this is only beginning to trend upward as I get more into it. That said, Me starting this roughly 2 months ago in earnest and seeing .1” growth in both measures of steady measurement is important to me. As the weather warms up and I can better hone my technique and put in more minutes under pressure this will change upwards, I’m sure.

Fifth, there is no rushing it. Without conditioning you won’t get the right pressure pattern to gain. The most pressure for the longest time won’t do anything good for your penis. Most folks dabbling with this style of pumping strive for the longest times at the highest pressures they can withstand and this is not the path forward in my opinion. I’ve seen more than one of those guys stall with pretty much nothing to show for it but a really tough penis that can take very high negative pressures. That does not serve your goal.

Sixth, I believe I have seen some curvature correction over this time period. I have started packing the tube significantly quicker with less pressure required. Those both sound like positives that lead towards correction and gaining in size.

Seventh is patience. It’s a lot of sessions that feel fruitless or boring. You are logging raw hours. Remember without putting in the time in with good faith. It’s temperance. Put in the work.

In closing…this pumping style appears to be the way forward for me, as I had theorized it could possibly be. It is customizable and relatively safe if you have a lot of foresight and self-control. If you drill one small safety hole you will have extremely high resting pressure. If you drill one large safety hole you will have a hard time selecting the different pressures you will want to cycle through. So it is a matter of proper calibration of the cylinder in question and understanding of the method you want to apply. Not just sticking it in, running it hard till you get penile fatigue, then hoping you gain later.

From my experience when you get to a longer duration you won’t need as much vacuum force to get the same (ideal) workload. Also, as the session progresses (in minutes) your tissues soften up so you won’t need as much vacuum force in the 25-30 minute zone as you did in the 10-15 minute zone, to produce the same consistent level of microtrauma. Or, to say it another way, if you use the same vacuum force for the whole 30 minute session the start will be weak and the end might still be too much force.

Over the last couple of years my training looks more like a 3-stage system (during one workout), 1, increasing vacuum to warmup and get everything stretched out, 2. A higher force stage so I can really “feel it” and 3. Tapering off, reducing the vacuum over the last 10 minutes or so, riding the “I can still feel it” effects but reducing the vacuum as needed so avoid overwork or injury.

I wouldn’t stress too much, with your expertise reading your Indicators you should be able to fine tune the amount of force and it will start to feel very natural. Just avoid that temptation to add some high-force minutes on the end, after you already feel like you got a very powerful stretch on. That’s where you get the blisters, skin and urethra tears, etc, or general overwork that causes toughening.
