Very nice setup and I will follow your next period with interest. I like people that’s really obsessed with things and still being structured and calm, thinking of every detail and don’t rush into it. They usually succeed with what they are up to. I wish you good luck!

You just described me lol. However, not really obsessed, I am instead very passionate about everything I like to do. I am extremely methodical, pay attention to detail, perfectionist, but as you say, calm.

Thank you for your wishes my friend. As soon as I received my weights I will start Second Period.

Period 1: 06/08/2020 BPFSL: 22cm (8.66") BPEL: 22cm (8.66") EG: 15.8cm (6.25") => 09/07/2020 BPFSL: 23.9cm (9.40")

Thanks for sharing so much detail. I’m sure I’ll be able to use this process once hanging slows down for me.

FWIW I’ve begun to track strain on the end of each week. I basically plan to increase weight if my strain is less than 2.5%

BPEL: 5.5" --> 7.9" ; BPFSL: ~5.6" --> 8.5"

That is great my friend. Are you measuring strain during every workout?

Not measuring strain daily. I suppose I could. I’m just looking for a metric that I can use to decide if I should increase my hanging weight for the next week. I understand the desire for more granular data, but I think the curve will be the same (mostly).

Hello igigi

Glad to see that it continues with you! I’ve had a look at your setup and I’ll take the liberty of asking some questions and making some comments. Hopefully there is something useful for you.

1. Stress Relaxation (SR) vs Creeping
Either I didn’t understand your setup or there is a little thing missing in the description. When you successively increase the weights, you are not doing SR (==> constant strain), but creeping (==> constant stress). The stress (force/cross section) remains the same for the same weight.

The difference between creep and SR is as follows:
- Creep: The stress (force/cross section) remains constant.
Here, the weight is increased in small steps. At each intermediate step (the time the weight remains unchanged), the stress remains constant, but the strain changes as your device “creeps” and thus becomes longer. The length changes “creeping” so to speak.
- SR: The strain remains constant.
With SR you set a fixed length and keep it constant. Due to the elongation, the ECM adapts to the connective tissue and the stress is reduced. After a certain time, you increase the strain and keep it constant again. The length changes in small steps.

Here is another quote from Krypa: Kyrpa - Gaining volume with Kyrpa

Both forms of adaptation induce collagen synthesis but the difference being the STRAIN primarily producing elongation and the STRESS producing strenghtening of the tissue due to growth.

I don’t understand why you are using the AMS when you know the weights you are throwing in the bucket. Did I miss something? If you are doing SR, that makes sense. As I understand your setup, it is unnecessary.

2. OTL
Do I understand you correctly that you always want to put your unit over your left thigh? As I understand it, most users have switched sides. For me, the risk of US leaving its mark would be too great. I know that Krypa sees no risk here. If you fire the left leg for 20 min over several weeks, you might be a pioneer.
I don’t want to show off: But my silicone sleeve (US Phantom made of silicone) is simply good. In conjunction with IR (100 W, dorsal), I can maintain the temperature well. I have by far not as large a device as you, but I think even for your size one transducer is enough in conjunction with IR. I have built a fixture out of leftover wood, so that I can light from above (==> attachment).
IR in conjunction with US has the disadvantage that the transducer occasionally switches off because of the temperatures. For this I have desoldered the thermocouple from the PCB. Thus there is continuous fire. If you want more detailed information here, please let me know and I can describe it to you in detail.

3. Thermocouples
I bought the same model as you and I found it useful. Are you going to use it every time? I bet you that after 2 to 3 rounds you will realize that similar values always come out. Great that you measure it!

4. Rubbers
If you are working with creep, I don’t understand what the rubbers do for you. The bucket with the weights can go up and down over the pulley and compensate for your movements. If you do SR, you have to clamp the rope, then the rubbers make sense. But as before, from the information I have gathered, it is not clear to me that you are doing SR.

5. Pulley
I recommend you to spray the pulley and the rope with silicone spray. Depending on how you move, the pulley will turn one way or the other. The friction can now increase or decrease the force on your device dependent on your movement. With silicone spray you can mitigate this hysteresis.

No matter how you do it: I wish you a brilliant P2

My friend, your comments are majestic and I deeply welcome them.

In fact, there is a large key piece of the equation that I had forgotten. It has been a while since my first Period and simply forgot this part but I have it already for my setup. So here it goes:

1. YES INDEED. It is strain, not creep. And in order to work under strain, there is a key element that I left out by accident. This element is a clamp that I will install on the rope itself, right where it enters the pulley. That way the tension will stop there And the AMS scale in this case will do its job monitoring the variation in tension on the penis. As the tension varies and settles, I will release the clamp and add tension if necessary. So of course, without clamping the rope would be creep and even defeats the purpose of using a scale.

2. I remember the discussion about the mark on the leg from US, but I never had a problem myself after P1. It is my belief that this might depend on how much sound waves pass to the leg. Perhaps a smaller penile circumference will allow for more sound waves to pass through, increasing of course the chances of developing some side effect on the leg tissue, while a large penile circumference will allow for less sound waves to pass to the leg, or at least with less intensity. I agree with your point about the IR plus US. I discovered in my case that yes, 1 transducer works well with IR light, but 2 transducers simultaneously plus IR helped me “secure” or “ensure” proper temperature.

3. You are correct and I thought about the same. I will specifically monitor temperature as much as required to at least secure consistency. Once I have enough data I will probably stop measuring, but again, I will not go by “feel” or by “getting used to”, I will go by gathered data.

4. I guess we clarify this now with number 1, I will be working on strain, not on creep. In this case, under strain, the small tension on the rubber bands will absorb involuntary movement.

5. I appreciate this advise very much, I actually have very good quality silicon spray that I will use it on the rope and the pulley.

Goal: 1 Foot x 7.5 Inches (30.48cm x 19.05cm) NBPEL

As I explained to Rocco in the previous post, here is the one key element that I left outside of the setup by accident. This key element I had left outside is what makes the difference between strain and creep. Strain is the ideal way to exercise the septum and is the way I will do it. What I had left outside is the clamp. Once tension is applied in the penis through the rope, pulley, weight basket system, a clamp must be applied on the rope right where it enters the pulley. What this does is to lock that tension, not allowing the weight to apply a constant force to the penis. This way, as the penis experience the “relaxation”, the scale will monitor that decrease in tension. Once tension settles after a few minutes, the clamp is released, tension re-applied, weight increased as needed. That is Strain.

This is the clamp, made out of plastic material with a very strong grip and a quick release trigger.

And that closes the circle. Now the whole thing makes sense and am very curious what you will report.
I hope that you can fix the rope accurately enough with the clamp. One millimeter of inaccuracy makes about 0.4 … 0.5 % strain and that is quite a lot with a target window of 3 %.

I wanted to remind you again about the baby powder. Maybe you remember my wooden clamp that I used instead of vacuum. I didn’t get along with vacuum at all before, there were blisters right away. During my P1, I switched to vacuum with baby powder after some members including you expressed doubts about my method and I have had no problems until the end. The cooling phase I did with 5 kg under vacuum with the result that I had NO blisters! I can really recommend you to try this. The additional effort is about 10 s: Powder on the glans and then vacuum cap on it. Done.

Truly fantastic. As you know I’ve been following your progress over the last year and have been amending my setup too. Words cannot describe how appreciative I am for you to share your value in this equation.

For your second step of the US heating while under strain, you only use the device for a total of 20 minutes? That includes the 4-10 minutes of potential warm up? Reason I ask is because I find myself having to be in US heat for 30 total minutes (4-10 minutes of warming up and 20 minutes of actual consistent 39-43•C)

Hi Danthe Thank you for your words my friend.

Of course, the purpose of all our efforts is to create a protocol and standardize a therapy that works for everybody based truly and exclusively on science rather than feelings based on emotions. Therefore the answer to your question is yes, I will do 20 minutes total of US including the warm up period in those 20 minutes.

The reason for that is that was the original protocol established by Kyrpa. In his experience, 60 minutes total each day was optimal for the tissues. I also credit Tutt with his detailed research, he firmly believe in lower weights/tension.

Basically I wanna do a text book period. A fully functional setup, with a pre-established protocol. I am not a big fan of “adding your own sauce”. I believe that if Kyrpa did something that brought him remarkable results, it is scientific to copy the exact protocol in an attempt to replicate the results. Once results are replicated, we discuss variations to perfect and improve the process, but that has to be general consensus and research, not just a feeling.

So as a reminder:

- 30 minutes stress relaxation
- 20 minutes UltraSound application while continuing stress relaxation
- 10 minutes cool down

As before, I will be using an IR light, NOT for therapeutic purposes, only to increase temperature in the local environment. Picture the light and heat of doing this in a chair at the beach. That is the purpose of my IR light.

Stress relaxation is continues throughout the whole 50 minutes, starting at 200 grams. Maximum is to be determined depending on behavior of tissues under strain.

Yes, when clamping the rope before the pulley, it makes it very easy to cause high inaccuracies by involuntary movement, or by wrong clamping. That is why the clamp will be literally touching the pulley, and that is why I use the bundle of rubber bands. To ease a little bit any of those involuntary movements as a cushion.

I bought the hooks that I needed, here are some pics of my complete setup. I will probably start tomorrow. The pictures show the complete setup, the scale, the rubber bands, the weights, and then a picture with the clamp on the rope, where it enters the pulley. The whole thing with only one 200grams of weight, records almost exactly 0.5kg on the scale. The picture os the full setup is with 4kg of weight, for stress testing purposes. BTW, I am holding the whole thing from the vacuum cup. Of course eventually will be held by the head of the snake.

Thank you Igigi for posting this! I’ll be modelling my setup similar to yours. Really intuitive with the rubber bands. Are you adding X amount of weight every 5 minutes even during the Ultrasound heating portion?
